    Hello,

    I am in charge of a website of a client who is using the enfold theme. We did not build the shop but our client changed the agency – therefore I do not have access to envato/themeforest and can’t enter a serial number.
    I am having troubles updating the shop, I have already tried the workaround mentioned here https://kriesi.at/support/topic/beim-aktualisieren-von-enfold-ist-ein-fehler-aufgetreten-download-fehlgeschlage/ but no success
    Since I have a javascript error in the page (page stays blank), which apparently is being fixed in a newer version, I need to get this update rolling as soon as possible. I would have started a support thread in the forums but since I cannot register, this is the only way to get in touch with you. Hope you can help me. If you need anymore information feel free to write me!

    Hi Ruben,

    Thanks for contacting us!

    You would need to update Enfold to the latest version 4.5.5 in order to make the theme compatible with the latest version of WordPress.

    Please ask your client to contact their previous developer and request the latest version of the theme, so you can update the theme via FTP, personal token, to insert in Enfold theme options to receive auto updates and purchase code, so you can register to our support forum – https://kriesi.at/support/register/ and start new threads under Enfold sub forum :)

    Allright I will try to reach out to get in contat with the previous developer. I just saw that actually there is personal information within the Enfold panel (see private content), yet still the update doesn’t work. For some reason it now shows the following message “Theme Updates
    No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.2)”

    Is it only possible by manually downloading the current version and updating via FTP? So the only option really is for the previous developer to login to envato and dl the current theme?

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, yes. Envato API has changed and we have updated it in theme files in Enfold 4.5 therefore when using previous versions of the theme, manual update via FTP is necessary. API keys are replaced by Personal Tokens.
