Recently our site went down and we received support from Media Temple (server host) get it back up again. When they were assisting us, they informed me about updates that will need to be made in order for our site to continue past September 30. I am not very savvy when it comes to these kinds of updates on WordPress and so I wanted to reach out to get your help. I have included the information they shared with me below.
“PHP 5.6 will be removed entirely from the Grid on September 30th, and I strongly recommend updating your site’s code for compatibility with PHP 7.3 before then.
You’ll need to update WordPress to the current version (it is very out of date), and then check all plugins and your theme for compatibility, by visiting the theme’s and plugins’ websites, and checking to see if they’re compatible with PHP 7.3. Then, update or replace as necessary.”

You can update the php, the theme and WordPress will work fine. Your hosting provider can help you with the update.
Best regards,

Sorry for the problem. I see that you are running an old version of the theme, so you should update as soon as possible. If you don’t have access to the theme files then you would have to purchase a new license, otherwise you will have this problem every time you need to update. You can purchase a new license here.
After you have access to the theme files then the update to 4.7.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,
Rikard -
