I am now having the same problem as others were having with upgrading to 4.4.1.
I am getting an error message:
An error occurred while updating Enfold: Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.I have multiple clients using Enfold, and trying to update them all using FTP is going to be a real problem. Is this going to be fixed or what can I do to get this latest update?

I try to disable Even Calendar, Event Ticket but in vain…
I believe this update will correct a problem with a WooCommerce shop page ordering conflict. However, I am not able to proceed.
I hope it will be corrected quickly because it currently involves losses of sales and customers. :(
October 20, 2018 at 2:34 am #1024262Hi,
I followed the thread you suggested, added the plug-in suggested, and the update still failed.
I then renamed the theme folder and tried to upload the new version. This failed with the following error:
The link you followed has expired.
I am getting very frustrated, and have multiple client accounts – I only use Enfold – that have to be updated. This has always been simple and easy, one of the reasons I chose Enfold. What is going on and what am I to do. Are there not simple instructions somewhere that address the issues so many people seem to be having?October 20, 2018 at 5:40 am #1024298Hi Roger,
Sorry for the problem. The simple explanation is that the update to 4.5 has to be done manually because of changes in the Envato API, automatic updates should work as usual after this update.
If you need help updating then please post WordPress admin and FTP login details in private. Also make sure and verify that you have have proper backups of your site.

October 20, 2018 at 12:44 pm #1024335Hey. That’s “great” for all of my clients. And Kriesi had no idea, that Envato has changed the API? This was an unannounced feature? You had no time, to implement something?
I have never understand, why you have no “fixer” as avada.
October 21, 2018 at 12:11 am #1024427Hi Rikard,
I was able to get 4.5 Installed by FTP on one site. But now there is a phantom bottom to each page on the site, below the footer area, that looks like a combination of things – menus, Icon boxes, etc. I have done everything – cleared cache, cleared browser cache, re-saved all selectors, etc. I just don’t know what to do. You can see it on the home page or all other pages. I have provided a login. Can you please help me? I am also concerned about other sites I need to update now? Will I have this problem on every one?
October 21, 2018 at 12:25 am #1024428Also, do you have an explanation about the new Envato API key. I went to their site and have no idea what is required or what to do for the Enfold theme. Is there an explanation somewhere? This is all very discouraging, and I am getting very, very concerned about all the websites where I have used Enfold.
October 22, 2018 at 9:55 pm #1025143Hi,
I was able to get the Envato API Key. but the footer is still messed up as I indicated above. Can you help me with this please? It is really causing a problem on our site.
Thanks… Roger
