LGDecember 28, 2020 at 5:24 am #1269892Hi Andreas,
Does your client have access to the theme files in a Themeforest account? If not then that is the first step you need to take. Either get login details for an existing account, or purchase a new license.
If the site is running version 4.4.1 or below, then the update to 4.7.6.4 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,
Rikard-

GuestHello, that is exactly my problem. I don’t have an account with which the theme was purchased at the time. Does this mean that I have to buy a new licence? That’s exactly what I wanted to avoid.

GuestMy problem is that there is an error in the page builder that says. Failed To load Plugin url:
Enfold -> Avia-tinymce-linebreak.js
What can I do?December 29, 2020 at 4:34 am #1269947Hi Andreas,
Thanks for the update. If you don’t have, or can’t get access to a Themeforest account, then I think your only option is to purchase a new license unfortunately. If you don’t, then you will have this same problem every time you need to update the theme, or get access to the theme files.
I can’t really say anything about the problem you are having, unless we can have a look at your site. If you are not running the latest version of the theme though, then I would recommend that you try to update first of all.
Best regards,

GuestOk, will now buy a new license and do the update. Then let’s see if the problem is still there. If so I will report here! Thanks

Thanks for the update. You are getting a 403 error on the font file, that means that the server is blocking access to the file. Please see private for example of URL. Could you try reaching out to your hosting provider to see if they can tell you why the server is responding in that way please? We can have a look for you as well, if you include FTP and admin WordPress login details with your next reply.

GuestI reinstalled everything again and updated to the latest version. Errors in the page builder and icons are missing. Please have a look:

December 31, 2020 at 4:08 am #1270001Hi,
Thanks for that, I see the same problem on my end. Could you post FTP login details in private as well please? It’s likely that the theme folder has the wrong permission settings on the server.

Thanks for the update. The FTP details don’t seem to work, please see private. Could you check and verify that they are working please?
Also, what exactly do you mean by the quote in private?

GuestHi apparently I got it working, don’t know how exactly but part of it was due to the 7G firewall in the .htaccess.
But you can look again if everything else is ok.
The only thing I need now is the code in functions.php to disable the GoogleFonts. Thanks
January 2, 2021 at 5:02 am #1270023Hi Andreas,
Thanks for that. The web version of FTP is working, and I set the theme folder to the 775 permission. After that the icons on your site is working. I couldn’t check the builder though, since the backend of your site is not loading on my end for some reason. Could you check that everything is working as it should on your end please?

GuestHello the backend works perfectly for me. Maybe try another browser?
