    Hello,

I don’t know what’s going but I have a bunch of cookie disclaimer kind of text on my checkout page below the checkout form: https://prnt.sc/y6dmbj

Is there a way to remove it?

    Thank you!

    Hey DeMamp,

Thanks for the screenshot. Please post a link to where we can see the actual element as well.

    Best regards,

    Hi DeMamp,

Credentials did not work for me. Could you please update the credentials?

Sorry, it should work right now! A backup I made yesterday removed the plugin.

    Hi DeMamp,

Can you disable caching and minification for now?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi Victoria,

Sorry for the delay! The error is still there. I disabled my caching plugins and went to Cloudflare and enabled “Development Mode” so any kind of caching or minification should be disabled now.

    Hi DeMamp,

There are no errors but it is a conflict of some kind.

Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi DeMamp,

The cookie notice is an important part of the info and it has to be present on every page. I am not sure why it does not work with the CarFlows or the Elemenetor. It seems to be working in other cases.

    Hello,

I disabled the cookie consent bar and indeed it is this feature that breaks the checkout page.

The thing is that users cannot get access to the checkout page without having been on any of the other pages prior. This means that they would’ve already agreed to the website’s use of cookies. That’s why I’m not sure why disabling the cookie consent bar ONLY on the checkout page would be a problem.

Is there a way I can block it on a specific page? This is the current code I’m using but it doesn’t work:
    #top.postid-1624 .avia-cookie-consent.avia-cookiemessage-bottom {display:none !important;}

    Thank you

    Hi,

I’m very sorry for the late reply. I tried checking your site, but the login tokens seem to have expired. Could you create a new one and post it in private please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

    Sure, here you go :)

    Thank you

    Hi,

Thanks for that. First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.8.1) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. If not, then please try activating the parent theme, to check if the problem is coming from you child theme.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

Indeed, the problem seems to come from the child theme. When I revert back to the parent theme I don’t have any issue with the checkout page… Weird.
As you can see I don’t have any custom PHP code that affects the checkout page itself so I’m not sure where the problem comes from exactly.

Could you help me with this? Thank you

    Hi,

Thanks for the update, and sorry again for the late reply. I tried logging into your site, but the login token seems to have expired again. Please renew it, or post regular login details in private.

    Np!

    Hi,

Thanks for the update, and sorry again for the late reply. I see that you have header.php in the child theme, could you try copying the content from the parent theme file in your child theme, then add your customisations back after that? If that is not the problem, then please try to remove all functions from functions.php, then add them back on by one to see which one is causing the problem.

If you should need further help with this problem, then please include FTP login details with your next reply as well.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
