November 4, 2018 at 6:56 pm #1029649Hey serasan,
Theme Forest has changed their API for Token keys, v4.5 fixes this, it is recommend to update manually.
There is a free plugin that will allow you to manually update via the WordPress Theme panel by uploading the enfold.zip file, otherwise you can update via FTP, please remember to delete the current enfold folder and then upload the new one. Please don’t try to overwrite the theme folder, as this will leave old files behind and cause errors.
My recommendation is to go to your Theme Forest account and download the updated Enfold v4.5 and manually update it, then going forward it will use the new Token keys. All users will need to generate a new token for updates. Please see this post
Please let us know if you would like some help updating. Here are the steps to update with the plugin
*Please ensure your “PHP Max Upload Size” is at least 20mb, because Enfold is 16.7mb.
1: please install the plugin: Update Theme and Plugins from Zip File
2: then go to WordPress > Themes > Add New > Upload
3: after the install, click “Return to Themes page” (NOT Activate)
4: success:

RikardNovember 5, 2018 at 8:38 am #1029787Hello,
my support has expired, but I hope you are going to answer. I overwrited the theme folder via ftp when I couldn’t update it in WordPress admin (2 files transfer failed).
What I need to do now to prevent errors? How to update correctly now (I tried listed steps, but now it doesnt work, I can’t upload zipped file).Thank You in advance for advice.

If you know how to update via FTP, then please to delete the theme folder completely, then upload the new version to the same place. Make sure that you have backups of the site before trying that though.

RikardNovember 5, 2018 at 3:51 pm #1029943Hello,
I tried like you wrote, I deleted Enfold theme folder completely and upload via ftp the new version, but It gives me the same error as when I overwrited the theme folder via ftp in the first attempt. Again, two failed file transfers.
On the link below you can see wich files cannot be transfered..

MarijanaNovember 6, 2018 at 1:34 am #1030138Here is what finally worked for me:
This worked for me:
There is a problem with Envato and this requires a different way of updating for this version. Here is how I did it and it worked fine for me:
the easiest and quickest way to update to v4.5 is if you have CPanel access to your site:1. Download the “Installable WordPress file only” from your Themeforest account
2. Login to your website’s CPanel – normally found at yourwebsite.com/cpanel
3. Open File Manager and navigate to the \wp-content\themes\ directory of your website
4. Rename the Enfold folder to Enfold-old
5. Upload the ZIP file you downloaded in step 1 to \wp-content\themes\
6. Extract the ZIP file you uploaded in step 5 to \wp-content\themes\
7. Delete the ZIP file you uploaded in step 5
When you check your website’s WordPress admin you will be updated to v4.5.
The previous version of Enfold will still be there – you can delete this if you are happy that the update has worked okay.I also downloaded the Envato Market Plugin and used it to generate API code for each website.
November 6, 2018 at 6:14 am #1030220Hi,
@marijana74
That is odd, I see that they are both images for the layerslider.
This unzipper script works good with FTP, so that you can upload a zip file and then unzip it on the server, perhaps it will help you.
How to Unzip Files on Server Using Unzipper.php ScriptBest regards,
