unable to udate to 4.5. from 4.4.1 - Support | Kriesi.at

hay i’m Niccolò from italy.i cant update to 4.5 from 4.4.1
When i upload zip i have this messagge:

C’è stato un errore durante l’aggiornamento di Enfold: Il download non è andato a buon fine. Non è stata fornita una URL valida.

There was an error during the Enfold update: The download was not successful. A valid URL was not provided.

please help me. i can provide with a temporary admin and login.ok?

Hey piki88,

Sorry for the problem. The update to 4.5 has to be done manually unfortunately, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

Hi,
I’m Cinzia from Italy,

I have the same problem I can not update the site, and I’m afraid that installing everything through ftp I lose the current configuration, but I’m forced to update because with the new wordpress update enfold in the pages works badly you no longer see the editor advanced.

Goodmorning,
I am encountering the same problem of Nicolò when I try to update the Enfold theme it says “C’è stato un errore durante l’aggiornamento di Enfold: Il download non è andato a buon fine. Non è stata fornita una URL valida.”
I have tried to update my API key and to download the Enfold zip file following the indication of the manual installation but it still doesn’t work.
I have installed the WPML plugin for multilingual, could it be the cause of the issue?
Can you help me?

Please refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/updating-to-enfold-4-5-and-validating-personal-token/ and if that does not help, please start a new thread under Enfold sub forum and attach temporary admin logins in private content field so we can look into it :)
