    Hei guys,
    after upgrading Enfold theme from 4.5.6 and one to 4.5.5. the header background disappeared, without touching site configuration. BG image is still configured in the setup.

    1. My bg image was also uploaded manually using FTP.
    2. I try to set any other, including the predefined in theme, it doesn’t work and it is not propagated to CSS code.
    3. I have purged server and client caches.
    4. I am also using child theme.
    5. I checked my own CSS code that is not causing this bug.

    I am sure that this is not a feature :-)
    I will probably downgrade theme or fix this issue manually using CSS. Let me know.

    Hi norbou

    Can you please paste the URL of the website here?
    I am pretty sure it is a merging conflict in CSS caused by the theme (I had the same issue for the footer recently).

    Hi Michael,
    yes, I included screenshots and URLs in private data section, could you read it as participant?
    Just now I made a downgrade to 4.5.4 and background was still missing. I changed the attachment from fixed to scroll and problem was solved. Then I upgraded back to latest version and BG image is still displayed.

    But I never changed attachment before and it was ok since 2015… There may be a problem with fixed value.

    No I can’t see the private content as participant, but I could read the URL from your screenshot – thanks.
    Could you please do the Enfold update again so I can see (inspect) the missing background image?

    It is currently there and I hope to see the issue in the code if you update again – sounds good?

    Yes, now it is solved in my case, but question is what happened. The “fixed” attachment feature is behaving different way now, this should be checked by programmers.

    Ah yes if you want to have it the same way as before, you need to manually fix a merged CSS file from the theme.
    The developers might fix this in the next version 4.5.7.

    Hi!

    I have a similar problem. My background image disappeared from the main content when I upgraded to latest Enfold version. I can see it in the General styling managing panel preview (but only if I choose “scroll” as value), but it does not show live.

    PS. The background image is in use on all pages EXCEPT the front page.

    What to do?

    I too have the same problem. Updated my theme and bang! The header image is gone. (This is not the first time it has happened), but I managed to fix it last time by simply selecting the file again and saving. I need a fix urgently please!

    *oh, managed to fix it, by doing the above. I had reselected as large which appended the dimensions to the file name. I removed those manually and just pressed save.
    Please put this in your test log as it has happened before.
