    Hi

    Purchased Enfold today, installed it and have been trying all day to import demo content. I increased the memory / upload/ media settings and I upgraded from php 7 to php 7.4 and am still getting the error: cURL error 28: Connection timeout after 10001ms. I contacted the hosting company who said that “WordPress fires off /wp-cron on its now accord by doing a loopback request because jobs executed by loopbacks can be very resource intensive. We do not block loopbacks, we rate limit them so badly written loops are isolated” – I have no idea what this means. Are there ‘badly written’ loopbacks in the demo content?

    Is there anywhere I can access the content and upload it incrementally?

    Thanks for your reply. Where do I add to the functions.php file – from WordPress or in the file manager with the hosting company please?
    The files down seem to be downloadable from that link.

    You can do it from WordPress, or via FTP, it’s up to you. If you need help with that, then please include FTP login details in private as well.

    I have checked them but the ftp had locked again – I am keeping it open now in case it needs to stay open to stay unlocked! (Or maybe I didn’t click it fully!!)

    The hosting company just sent me this message:

    “We have added a section of code to functions.php to increase the timeout for requests, this allows particularly long requests to complete without error, which usually helps situations like this.
    The code is prefaced with:
    //Added to fix cURL timeout errors
    If the provide/ developer would like to take a look”

    in case it helps! I won’t try to import the demo again to test in case you are already working on it.

    FTP logins still did not work for me unfortunately.

    Which demo would you like to import? We can try in WordPress dashboard. It might work after the changes made by your hosting providers.

    I just tried in WP dashboard again and got the same error.

    I have added a new ftp account and unlocked it. Hopefully that one will allow you access.

    Sorry for the late reply. I tried connecting via FTP again, but the login details are still not working. Could you check and verify that the details are working, then send them again please? If we need to provide you with our IP’s, then please let us know.
