Trouble with mobile color section stretching

This is an example of what is occurring. It looks great on the desktop version. But when you go to the mobile version the background image is getting stretched out because those 3 items take up more room. It’s trying to fit everything in that image.

I need it to stretch horizontally. But I don’t want it to stretch vertically at all. I can’t seem to figure out a way to accomplish that. I’m either stuck with one blog post which looks bad on desktop. Or I’m stuck with an image that stretches on mobile.
