    Hello,

    Having an issue in IE, my website header and the advanced layer slider are showing white on the homepage, all other browsers are working fine. I think it’s an issue with the Transparent header with border option as it’s not happening with other sites. https://www.amos-mfg.com/. Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Hey ind-image,
    In the Private Content area is a beta version with the latest fixes which has solved many IE & Edge issues so perhaps this will help you also.
    The easiest and safest way to test the beta version is to rename your current theme to “enfold-old” via ftp then upload the new “enfold” and check that your site is working correctly.
    Once you are happy you can delete the “enfold-old” via ftp, (not the WP theme page)
    Should for some reason you wish to roll-back to the old version, it’s easy to do, simply rename the new “enfold” to “enfold-new” via ftp and then rename “enfold-old” to “enfold” then refresh your page.
    Please don’t try to overwrite the theme folder, as this will leave old files behind and cause errors.

    Hi Mike,

    Thanks for this, but it ended up just turning my whole site white/blank until I changed to another theme. Not sure what the pass is for in private data. If you have any other ideas please let me know, otherwise I hope this is fixed in the next version.

    Hi,
    The pass is because the file is protected, so you would need to extract the file then upload via ftp as I described above. If this still is not working for you please include ftp access and I will try to install the beta for you.

    Hi Mike,

    Not getting the password prompt when downloading the files, so I get a folder of empty folders, lol. Added credentials to a staging site and FTP below, if you can give it a shot that would be appreciated or if you can figure out the file download issue I’d be happy to do this myself.

    Are you doing this on a Windows 10 machine? Try to install a zip extractor software like WinRar.

    It should ask you for a password when you try to extract the file.

    Hi Ismael,

    I have zip extraction software, no prompt when trying to extract, get empty folders. Can’t install the one you sent a link to, I work for a corporation that won’t let me install it.

    The file isn’t in the link Mike sent anymore so I can’t try to download again. If you don’t mind taking a look at this issue I would greatly appreciate it.

    Hi,

    Hi Mike,

    Thank you for getting this version installed, everything seems to be fixed on the other browsers. I can take care of the rest, just couldn’t get the file download to work correctly, but I appreciate the offer. Let me know if there are any negatives with having this version installed, I’ll be moving this copy to my live site a little later today. Thanks again for everything, and as always Enfold has the best support!
