How can I transition a media element (image) from one color segment at the top of the page to another color segment at the bottom of the page?
Unfortunately, drag and drop doesn’t usually work. Unfortunately, the distances between the two elements are too large. It’s really annoying when the elements (which have already been edited) keep disappearing when you try to drag them to another place.I also had a problem today, exchanging two images that were inserted one below the other. You have to reload them and you can’t just change the order by moving the elements.
Is there another trick to moving elements that have already been created?
Many thanks in advance.

Thank you for the inquiry.
The only way to move elements in the builder is by dragging and dropping. There is a workaround, but we don’t recommend it because if you’re not familiar with the builler shortcodes, it is quite easy to break the whole page. You have to enable the debug mode and cut and paste the elements/shortcodes to a certain position in the shortcodes field.

If you’re having difficulty dragging an element in one go, just try to move the element gradually, dragging and dropping until you get the element to a position where you wanted it to be.

IsmaelDecember 9, 2022 at 1:18 pm #1375674Hi Ismael,
thanks for the explanation. I’m very surprised because that’s the basis of how the elements are inserted and it’s so difficult to handle. It’s incredible that you can’t just insert the elements in a certain place. As a basis, only the area with the elements above should remain visible instead of being covered when scrolling. Then, at least at the beginning, you could insert the elements where you need them – by dragging and dropping over a very short distance. They’re extremely difficult to drag later, and with a lot of content on a page, it takes ages dragging an element gradually, just getting one step forward.
How can it be that the clever developers of the theme can’t find a solution for this big problem?Best regards
December 12, 2022 at 9:19 am #1375911Hi,
Did you enable the fullscreen mode? The elements’ container will automatically become sticky when fullscreen mode is enabled. If not, it will stay fixed at the very top of the builder without covering the top portion of the elements’ field. Maybe disabling the fullscreen mode will make it easier for you to drag/drop elements.

IsmaelDecember 12, 2022 at 12:29 pm #1375928It seems to work now that the tool pane stays visible at the top. I now have “Top Toolbar” set.
Then obviously “Spotlight mode” was preset, which is not a good idea.
How are you supposed to know what to change? Why wasn’t the default set up directly so that you can work properly with the demo or the theme?
And why didv’t you tell me earlier this important information? I’ve received various tips from you on how to circumvent the problem (dragging and dropping over a very short distance)
but so far not the main thing! ;-) Thanks for that.Best regards
December 13, 2022 at 8:59 pm #1376092Hi,
Glad to hear that this is sorted out now. The preset “Spotlight mode” is controlled by WordPress and we don’t set these options.
Perhaps you would like to try switching the WordPress editor to the classic mode by going to Enfold Theme Options ▸ Select Your Editor ▸ Use WP Classic Editor it is a little easier to work with as it doesn’t have the WordPress Block Editor distractions, give it a try, you can always switch back if you don’t like it.
Since you have this sorted out now shall we close this thread then?Best regards,
MikeDecember 14, 2022 at 12:14 pm #1376126Thanks for the information. I will test this as soon as the website has changed web hosts or I can work on it again.
By the way… can you give me a hint what to do if after 24 hours it’s still showing the old website?
I emptied the cache several times (firefox) and also tried it on another browser (chrome) that I hadn’t used before to log in.
I guess it is not because I deactivated google & co in the WP? But I wanted to activate that again only after I had corrected all the links
with the plug-in better research…. But I can’t do that at the moment because the page was supposedly transferred to the other server since yesterday at 9 a.m.
But I still see the old website there, so I can’t work on it. :-(
Best regardsDecember 14, 2022 at 2:54 pm #1376145Hi,
Has the domain been changed to point to the new nameservers for the new webhosting company?Best regards,
MikeDecember 14, 2022 at 3:58 pm #1376176The domain was transferred, yesterday around 9 a.m. I received the confirmation and around 1 a.m. the SSL encryption was released.
The transfer also worked – according to the web provider – and my client can already see the new website, but I can’t,
even though I deleted cqache and used ctrl+f5 etc.
But I urgently need to enter the new links because the page is not encrypted yet.Best regards,
NicDecember 14, 2022 at 8:54 pm #1376219Hi,
Have you rebooted your computer yet?
It sounds like your hosts file is still using the old IP address.
If rebooting doesn’t help try Flushing your DNS Cache.
Best regards,
MikeDecember 14, 2022 at 9:06 pm #1376220Thank you!
I did everything like rebooting etc.
In your link I found this explanation:
If you’re on a Windows machine—any Windows machine, even going back to XP and older—flushing the DNS merely takes a simple command. Click the Start menu and type “cmd.” Right-click on the Command Prompt option and choose “Run as Administrator.” In the Command Prompt window that appears, type the following command:
ipconfig /flushdns
If successful, the Command Prompt will report back with “Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.” Try visiting the website in question again, and see if that solved the problem.I’m not very familiar with command prompts, so I hope I can’t do anything wrong…
December 14, 2022 at 9:55 pm #1376222It worked! :-) Thank you.
