Hello. I imported the band template into a development site and can’t figure out why the top header and navigation bar stay transparent when you scroll. This site is WP 5.7.1. https://devapp.galaxypress.com

On the demo site of the band template as soon as you scroll down the top becomes dark with the navigation staying white.

I looked at another site I am using the same template and it is working fine, but is running an older version of WP. Looks like WP 5.5.4 still works correctly as my site here: https://battlefieldearth.com/

Thank you for looking into this and letting me know if there is a fix for this.

    Hi Jason,

Can you try to check in Enfold > General Styling > Logo Area if Logo Area background color has a color set on it?

    Best regards,
    Nikko

Thank you for the message. Yes, when I imported the Band template it updated all of the colors. In the Logo Area it is set to #191919.

    Hi Jason,

Thanks for providing the screenshot, can you please post to us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

Thank you so much for looking into this. I have created an admin account so that you can log in and look.

I have a few other sites with similar issue so once we find the cause please do let me know so that I can fix the other one as well.

    Best, Jason

    Hi Jason,

Thanks for giving us admin access.
It seems it does not add or remove this class in the header: av_header_transparency which is responsible for the transparency of the background.
I don’t see any js error however I think it has some incompatibility between your current version of Enfold (4.7.4) which has some incompatibilities with the latest version of WordPress.
I believe the issue will be fixed by updating Enfold to the latest version (4.8.2) then flushing out cache.
Please update the theme to the latest version and make sure to have a backup first.
Since you have a lot of plugins you may want to test it out with a staging site first before doing it on a live site.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

Dear Nikko, Thank you. I see that I am running the 4.7.4 and went to manually check for update on Enfold and can’t find anywhere the 4.8.2. Is there something I am doing wrong to locate the update? I have a valid token installed, which I left access so that you can check this. Thanks, Jason

    Hi Jason,

Please check as well if it has sufficient permission:

    • View and search Envato sites (checked by default)
    • View your Envato account username
    • View your email address
    • View your account profile details
    • Download your purchased items
    • Verify purchases of your item
    • List purchases you’ve made

If even with sufficient permission it does not work, please try to do the following steps instead:
    Make a backup:
    – Site Backup: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/backup-wordpress-site/
    – Theme Settings Backup: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/backup-theme-settings/

    Update Enfold Theme
Option 1: Use Envato Market to update your site
    – link: https://envato.com/market-plugin/

    Option 2: Update manually
    1. Login to ThemeForest and download the Enfold theme, right-click over the downloaded zip file and extract/unzip it.
    2. It should generate a new folder, open it and look for the enfold folder
    3. Right-click the enfold folder then zip it, here’s a tutorial on how to create a zip file in windows: https://www.howtogeek.com/668409/how-to-zip-and-unzip-files-on-windows-10/ (this should create enfold.zip
    4. Log in to WordPress as and Admin.
    5. Install and activate a maintenance plugin and put your site in Maintenance mode.
    6. Go to Appearance > Themes, switch to a default WordPress theme like TwentyTwenty then delete Enfold.
    7. Click on the ADD NEW button.
    8. Click on the UPLOAD THEME button.
    9. Click BROWSE and choose enfold.zip file
    10. Click the INSTALL NOW button and switch to Enfold or your child theme.
    11. Remove the maintenance mode then deactivate and remove the maintenance plugin.

Register the theme by following the instructions in https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Once this is done, the next time you update, you’ll only need to go to Enfold > Theme Updates and click on the Update button.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

Thank you. This worked. All set on this transparent issue for now as working fine with the update.
