In my Portfolio Item, I have a Masonry Gallery with a number of images in it. When I go to change the title of an image, the new Title does not stick; it goes back to the old title. What I am doing is changing the Title, clicking Insert gallery at the bottom right, then Save at the bottom right of the next screen (Masonry Gallery), then Update in the upper right on the next screen (Portfolio item). Is there something I’m not doing so the title will change?

Have you tried to directly adjust the image title in the Media > Library panel?
Please provide a screenshot using Savvyify, Imgur or Dropbox. Here are the steps to follow:
1.) Visit the website of your chosen platform, such as Savvyify, Imgur or Dropbox.
2.) Locate the option to upload a file or an image.
3.) Select the screenshot file from your computer or device and upload it to the platform.
4.) After the upload is complete, you will be provided with a shareable link or an embed code.
5.) Copy the link or code and include it in your message or response to provide us with the screenshot.Thank you for taking the time to share the screenshot. It will help us better understand the issue you’re facing and provide appropriate assistance.

IsmaelI have not tried that. I have been trying to adjust the image title in Edit gallery. I added screenshots to a folder in Dropbox. The title starts as 18″ long, 9″ high, I wanted to change it to 18″L x 9″H. I change it to that, then I click Insert gallery, but then when I go back to the gallery, the Title goes back to what it was before.

I can’t reproduce this problem using the latest version of the theme, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (5.6.12) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. RikardI updated to the latest version (5.6.12) and it still does not work. When I’m in Portfolio Items / Masonry Gallery / Edit gallery, then I change the title, but after I leave that screen after clicking Insert gallery, the new title does not stick. If I click back into Edit gallery, it goes back to the old Title. I will post login details in private content.

It seems to be working correctly on our end. We changed the title of the IMG_1743-e1523396499541-1.jpg to “Test Title”. After changing the title of the image and editing the gallery, please make sure Save the Masonry Gallery element and update the page.

IsmaelIt still doesn’t work for me. It seems like there is a Save button missing from the Edit gallery screen. All I see on that screen is Insert gallery button at the bottom right, and after I click Insert gallery, and then Save on the next screen, when I click back into Edit gallery, the Title of the image goes back to what it was before I changed it.
What I want to do is make all the measurements in the Titles of the images in the Portfolio items be X”W x X”H, and when there is a length, it should be X”L x X”W x X”H (where X is a number).

RikardWhat image did you rename, and did you put it back to what it was before you renamed it? What Portfolio Item are you in? I don’t know what second image refers to.
It is still not working for me. I am in Flora and Fauna Portfolio Item, and for the third image from the last one, I put in Alt text, and have been trying to get that to be the title, but it is not saving with a title at all. I have tried this on Firefox and Chrome, and have cleared all data from both, and it is still not working. I wonder if there should be a Save button on the Edit gallery page, instead of Insert gallery, as when I click that button, it does not save the Title of the image.
I tried going into the Media Library, I updated the Alt Text and Title of each image, and neither one stuck.
I have been getting an error message at some points when I have been in the dashboard: The firewall on this server is blocking your connection. I will send a screenshot in the Private Content. I wonder if this is causing the issue that I cannot update the Titles of the images.
The issue was with the firewall. The hosting service resolved the issue, and now updating the Title of the images works. You can close this topic. Thank you.
