Suddenly the thumbnails in the events calendar and the catalogue widget in Enfold is not showing up as round anymore. They are oval, either vertical or horizontal. Any idea why this is happening and how can I get it back to being round.
The old ones stay round, it is new events and new catalogue items that is showing oval thumbnails.
As you can see on this page, the top one is circle, the second one is oval. I need them all to be a circle.
Also, featured images set in a post and showing up in a blog-post widget on the front page does no longer conform to equal height and width as it did before. https://www.spatind1414.no

There are 2 ways, first you can replace the image (oval image) with an image that has equal height and width.
The second way, (will stretch the image), just add this css code in Quick CSS:#top .av-catalogue-list .av-catalogue-image { width: 44px; height: 44px; }

NikkoSeptember 14, 2019 at 12:14 am #1138242I am not sure if I am clear.
It was not like this a couple of weeks ago. When adding a featuered image to a post, it came out as a circle or square, either on the blog page or in a post widget. I did not alter any css, and also in your own documantation it says the post thumbnail is circle by default. And on my site it is not anymore.Regards Nina
September 14, 2019 at 2:37 pm #1138314Hi Nina,
I apologize, I suggested a fix instead of tackling possible issues.
I tried to compare it on my local server using image with different height and width and I didn’t have an issue, the only thing I noticed as a difference is in your site it fetches the full image instead of a small cropped image.

September 18, 2019 at 5:08 am #1139326Hi Advantage09,
I just checked your site and noticed that when you upload an image, it does not generate other image sizes.
That’s what’s causing the issue, when an image is uploaded to the catalogue it looks for the square image size to use and if it can’t find it, it will just use the full image size.Best regards,
NikkoSeptember 18, 2019 at 9:37 am #1139346Okay.
How do I go about resolving that?Regards
NinaSeptember 18, 2019 at 10:27 am #1139375Hi Nina,
Did you add any custom code?
Can you try to remove one of the Enfold theme in Appearance > Themes? since currently there are 2 and might produce unnecessary results.Best regards,
NikkoSeptember 18, 2019 at 8:09 pm #1139653Hi
Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I updated to the latest version of Enfold, deleted the old one that was still there. No change. I then installed the Regenerate Thumbnail plugin, I got an error message that my server could not regenerate thumbnails due to missing Imagick or GD PHP extension. As soon as that was sorted, all thumbnails are back to their correct look and size.
