February 8, 2017 at 7:52 am #744239Hi Steve,
Did you try clearing your browser cache or a different browser? If that doesn’t work then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look.
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 8, 2017 at 3:14 pm #744364I cleared the cache and tried both Chrome & Safari but no luck.
February 8, 2017 at 3:30 pm #744374Hi!
Please try installing the theme manually via FTP – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/install-enfold-theme-with-ftp/

YigitFebruary 8, 2017 at 9:10 pm #744496I am totally frustrated. I am not a big tech guy this is why I use WP and themes. Can I just pay the $50 and have you guys install this?
February 8, 2017 at 9:59 pm #744521Hey!
You do not need to pay anyone, if there is an increasment from your hosting company, and they increase your limit to 256M
Can you please contact them and let us know if they do it?
If they do and you still have problems, we can see how to fix those!Thank you very much
Best regards,
BasilisFebruary 8, 2017 at 10:57 pm #744542My limit has been increased. I tried to follow the video using the FTP but that did not work. I am sure I did something wrong but now I am going on wasting two days on this and I want to get it done so I can build out this site.
Thanks

February 9, 2017 at 7:00 pm #744973Hey!
I am getting “Server said: Login authentication failed” error. Can you please check the credentials once again? Also, please include the server
Cheers!
YigitFebruary 9, 2017 at 7:22 pm #744988Ok I just got off the phone with tech support and recreated an FTP for you and he said the IP Address should suffice for the server.
Thanks
SteveFebruary 9, 2017 at 7:48 pm #745005Enfold comes zipped in a ZIP folder. You need to unzip it and install the OTHER zipped folder. It took me FOREVER to figure this out the first time!
Wordpress will continue to time out because you are trying to upload the ENTIRE zipped file that contains other zipped files. So dumb.
February 9, 2017 at 7:58 pm #745012Hey!
@bizranker I installed the theme via FTP for you. Please go to Appearance > Themes and activate it :)
@amethystmahoney Thanks for your input and glad you figured it out :)Cheers!
YigitMay 20, 2017 at 5:10 pm #797054Hello,
This is for anyone else having the “Are you sure you want to do this?” error when trying to upload the theme via the WordPress theme installer. Here is what I did to get it to work. In ThemeForest I chose to download “Installable WordPress file only” this is the zip you can upload directly, no nested zip inside.
These are all PHP options I was able to set via the cPanel -> under “Software” category -> click on “Select PHP Version” -> you should see a link “Switch to PHP Options” click on it -> make the below changes there (write down the original values in case you need to revert). If you cannot make these changes yourself, contact your hosting provider and give them this info.
1. As suggested above I increased “memory_limit” to 256MB. This alone did not work.
2. I increased “upload_max_filesize” to 16MB. (the enfold zip file is about 13MB)
3. I increased “post_max_size” to 32MB. (this option has to be LARGER than “upload_max_filesize” but SMALLER than “memory_limit“)After I did the above changes I was able to install the theme (although it did take about 2 mins to refresh the page, it is extracting over 1,000 files so be patient) with no issues.
Let me know if this helps.
May 21, 2017 at 7:20 am #797150May 7, 2018 at 7:39 pm #952837hey @kahman, I just tried your directions while I was on hold with my hosting provider and the upload did not work. Do y ou have any oher suffestions? my hosting provider just told me to do a manual upload with Filezilla but I am hoping there is a easier way
May 7, 2018 at 10:37 pm #952951Hi,
@qsla1234 please try installing via FTP as your hosting provider also recommended – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/install-enfold-theme-with-ftp/. Then you could insert your username and API key in Enfold theme options to receive auto updates – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/Best regards,
YigitMay 8, 2018 at 12:21 pm #953327Hi there;
I was able to upload the theme yesterday by increasing the space on the php panel and then using a different browser .Now that its uploaded, I am having the same issue I had one month ago with another website (www.qsla.ca) and Mike helped out and got it to work.
The problem is that the ‘search’ bar shows up vertically across each page. Please see http://www.qslafoundation.org
Mike fixed the problem. Here is our conversation https://kriesi.at/support/topic/theme-updates-12/#post-935628
Could you help me? Or see if Mike is available?
Thank you, Claudia
May 9, 2018 at 12:03 pm #953852Hi there! I got the theme to upload except now I have the same problem as I had with another website where I use Enfold – the search bar is shown vertically across every page.
This happened before with another website and Mike from Enfold fixed it. Could you take a look at reply #935646
Could you please take a look and advise what to do?Thank you!

May 9, 2018 at 4:48 pm #954044Hi,
The search icon is inside the sidebar container. Did you add any modifications to the theme? If possible, please create a separate thread for this issue. We’ll check it there.
Best regards,
IsmaelMay 9, 2018 at 5:08 pm #954061Hey Ismael;
I did not add any modifications to the theme…… I started a new thread: see post #953860.
