    I had not updated Enfold for some time and I just saw that now there is a “theme update” section that allows you to make updates via the WordPress backend. In that case, is it still recommended to use a “child theme”?

    Hi Alain!

    Yes, it is still recommended, updating from the WP backend doesn’t replace the purpose of a Child Theme, which is to have a way to modify the theme functionalities without affecting the parent theme.
