    Hello,
    I have tried updating to 4.5 via the plugin you recommend as well as FTP, but as soon as the child theme is pointing to the updated parent theme, the site breaks with a 500 error. Could you please help me with this issue? I even tried updating WordPress to Gutenberg, which I was hoping to do only after I updated the theme, but no luck.

    Hey neptuneillume,

    Do you know which version of PHP you are running on the site? We recommend that you use 7.1 or higher.
