On my homepage I have a testimonial slider (large) towards the bottom of the page. I noticed that if I open another tab in my Safari browser and then go back to my website the testimonial slider vanishes and the only way to get it back is to refresh the page. (See Image) This also happens on your demo below as well. I am using Safari 8.0.4 with Yosemite 10.10.2 Wondering if there is a way to fix this issue right now. If not, I at least wanted to report this so you can come up with a fix in the near future. Thanks!
March 21, 2015 at 6:10 am #415645Hey djshortkut!
Thank you for the heads up.
I was not able to reproduce the issue on Windows 7 and 8 Safari, I’ll ask the rest of the support team to take a look.

April 29, 2015 at 10:18 am #436564Hey!
Issue seems random and unique to few installations. Is this happening when the testimonial element is the only content inside a page? Please create a test page with only the testimonial element. Let us know if the issue is still happening.

I could not reproduce the issue on my end on OS X 10.10 on Safari Version 8.0.2. I will ask @andy to check your site on his Mac.
Cheers!
YigitApril 30, 2015 at 10:36 pm #437832Hey!
Kriesi told me that he is still investigating on this issue. As it’s happening only on Safari and not even every time, it’s quite difficult to find a solution. Thanks for being patient!

AndyMay 12, 2015 at 1:57 am #442771Thanks for the update Andy! Some more info that may help Kriesi. I noticed that if tabs are already open within Safari you can go back and forth between the tabs without any issue. The issue arises when you open another tab and load content onto that tab from another website. Simply opening the tab doesn’t affect it, it’s only when you load a website to that tab.
FYI I also noticed that this affects the headline rotator as well. Hopefully this helps to find a solution.

thanks a lot for your input. I will forward it to Kriesi. Hopefully he can find a solution soon!

AndySeptember 15, 2015 at 1:32 am #503087Wondering if you were ever able to find a solution for this issue. I noticed there were a couple of other threads on this so it seems to be affecting other users as well.
One other thing I noticed is that the same thing happens with the caption title, caption text, and buttons on full screen video sliders and fullscreen image sliders where all of the content over the slide will disappear when you navigate to another page.
Hopefully there will be a fix coming for this soon because I have had some complaints about it from users. Thanks!
