The template builder in Enfold theme is not working. It just shows the loading gif. Please help to fix it urgently.

If you are using WordPress 4.0 you must be using Enfold version 2.9.2. See: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

DevinFirst i was older version. and Now i updated. Then how should i update the “Enfold Child” theme. And please consider i have update the front-end theme with my design (layout, colors, icons) everything. So updating the theme will restore the default theme of Enfold? or hopefully will not affect my design?

Your options will remain the same as long as theme names are matching, feel free to update parent theme

Yigit1- Now i updated to version 4
2- I downloaded the installable files of Enfold from themeforest.
3- I updated enfold thru ftp to version 1.5
Then our design is got broken. Enfold theme design is applied.Now i rollback to the old enfold to keep my design up. but the wordpress is still version.
The major issue is still open: Layout Builder is not working as I sent in first post.
And i tried the issue even with wordpress 4 and enfold 1.5 but it’s still there. Just loading see:

The latest version of Enfold is 2.9.2 and not 1.5. Please login on ThemeForest with the account you have purchased Enfold and go to Downloads section to download the latest version and then re-try updating the theme.

I have been facing the same issue problem with the Enfold theme.
I have tried fixing all the recommended ways (deactivating plugins, updating both WP and Enfold, and all other options) but nothing worked.
I really do not know what to do and I do not even know how to use FTP.Website is http://www.designactual.com
I need urgent help please as a need to do many amendments on my website and not able.
Please note that this has been going on for the least past 2 months without any solutions.Thank you in advance for your time and attention.

@designactual You are using a very old version of Enfold as well. You can follow the instructions on how to update the theme via FTP here – http://vimeo.com/67209750
You may need to re-configure header options after updating the theme. Please also see – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/intro-to-the-header-configurator/Cheers!
YigitI went back to the old version of Enfold. because as i told you the design has broken. But when i tried them the layout builder issue has not fixed.

Also, you have many plugins that needs to be updated, please update them first and check if it helps with Advanced Layout BuilderCheers!

Sorry about that but you were using a very old version of Enfold and many changes have done to the theme since you last updated. If you would like to revert to old version, you can simply change the theme name from enfold to enfold-new and enfold-old to enfold via FTP

We provide support free of charge here on Kriesi.at. But as i mentioned earlier, you are updating the theme from a very old version and you may need to re-configure options/re-create pages. Enfold version 3 was just released – http://kriesi.at/archives/enfold-version-3-0-bigger-better-faster

Yigitwhat if i dont want to upgrade? the functions dont work? sorry what type of software is this? if not update the functionality will not work?
I’m ok to live with the old wordpress and old enfold. i don’t need the new features. And Why you enforce me to re-write my design again to meet your new versions?That’s really bad design. Please let me know is there anyway to live with the old version? or to update without breaking the design?

It will be also like before. When i posted my first question here.. it was the old wordpress version.. and also the layout builder has the issue. It’s not about versions .. the layout builder has a bug i believe.The issue i ‘m facing is in old and new versions of wordpress and theme. I changed everything and it’s still there.

– updated wordpress + updated theme.
– old wordpress + wold theme.

I am sorry but that is because i do not understand the issue clearly. You said layout was broken and i said “you need to re-configure some elements/options as you are upgrading from a very old version”.
