    Hi since updating enfold to latest version i have found that my new tabs
    show huge amount of white space above and below any content in the tabs
    see link below in private area
    Can anyone help with this issue please

    ok what I have done so far but more issues

    1. I put the Tab content to – Top (instead of middle)
    effect : moved content of Tab to top of Tab ( so no white space at the top – but still huge white space after content at bottom ?

    2. I have noticed when editing a tab – a tab suddenly dissapears ?

    3. When i returned to see the page – Tabs today the content of each Tab as moved to another Tab
    ie: Brand Information content is now under tab Design Tools – every one as moved…???

    What is going on – this can’t continue one issue after another google Maps now basic Tabs

    Any help or Info will be much appreciated – i really do need to consider getting rid of Enfold and using another Theme
    to much time is being wasted trying to firefight – resolve all these ongoing issues

    i suggest taking us back to latest solid Enfold before last two updates

    Oh i almost forgot – 4. the site has never been so slow – unresponsive, not good for the faster loading times as promised with update 4.0

    Hi Bizsolmw,

    As for the speed issues you’re having on your site, I have checked it in https://tools.pingdom.com/ and it seems that site/host responds after 3.71s before starting to download initial files like css. You can also check it using https://www.bitcatcha.com/
    Try doing the stuff mentioned in our blog to make it faster:
    https://kriesi.at/archives/scoring-100-100-in-google-pagespeed-insights-gtmetrix-pagespeed-and-yslow the current improvements should be seen in Enfold > Performance which includes css and js minification and compression, as well as loading only stuff needed.

    As for the tab section issue, can you try setting Content height to Auto adjust to content if that still doesn’t help, please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
      ( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

    When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
    If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    On the Tabs issues ” try setting Content height to Auto adjust to content ”
    their is no option for me to do select this – how can i do this ?

    you will still see on the page http://www.finchgranite.com/silestone/#25-year-warranty
    that each tab has the wrong content in them…
    also when i go to edit the TAB relating to 25 Year Warranty — it shows no content at all in the text box
    yet you can see in browser ???? try it for yourself to see

    Hi Nikko
    I revisited the page to find the “Care & Cleaning” Page Tab had gone, so i created the tab again with content in the backend, but it does not show the content once again on the front end website.
    Still the warranty page in the back end shows no content and still all the tabs show the content of another Tab on the website – frontend ???
    Please view and give me your thoughts of this situation… It’s really baffling why this is happening…
    I cannot feel any confidence in using Tabs in the Enfold Theme since updates to display content correctly.

    Hi Bizsolmw,

    Since there are no errors in shortcodes and in JavaScript, this can very well be the plugin conflict.

    A plugin conflict may be one of the reasons for this issue.
    To find which plugin is causing the conflict please follow these steps:

    1. Go to your plugins page > Deactivate all active Plugins
    2. Update WordPress and Enfold to the latest version if you have not.
    3. Make sure all the plugins are updated.
    4. If the problem does not persist when plugins are turned off, activate one plugin at a time and refresh until you find the plugin in conflict.

    We await the results of your plugin compatibility test.

    Thank you for your reply, i will do once again what you suggest

    Just to let you know at the bottom of each Tab after huge white space it shows all the text content from the care – cleaning Tab
    but it does not show this when you are trying to edit each tab in backend…how is it doing that ???

    All these problems only started after updating to Enfold version 4.4
    First Google Maps API still not resolved then these Tab problems

    I have latest versions of Enfold 4.4.1 and wordpress 4.9.6
    All plugins up to date

    Can you try to check it now, the spacing should be fixed as I updated the page.
    You can see the options in the screenshots provided (in private content).

    Still Problems – I created a New tab spent an hour laying out content and images – saved – updated the page
    went back to backend … No Tab – just dissapeared – gone

    I added a new Tab (tab6) – then the content of each Tab moved to next Tab along —crazy why is it doing this

    your help would be appreciated

    You can see on the frontend – website the new tab Care & Cleaning shows Warranty Tab content and Tab 1 surface colours is blank ????
    If I delete Tab 6- content of Tabs is correct, ……but i need 6 Tabs
    Also when trying to layout Tab 6 – Layout elements ( 3/4) would not insert …..

    Thanks for providing us more information, this is fixed. Can you check it again?
    I found out that there was an extra closing div in the fifth tab which prevents the tab section from working properly.
