Tagged: Tabbed Sections
Hi support,
I have a tabbed section that has 8 sections to it however I use the exact same tabbed section on another page.
Is there a way in which to manage both from one central area rather than having to update each?
Thanks
John
Hey John,
Thanks for contacting us!
Please save your element as template – https://imgur.com/a/l6v1St9 and then create a new Tab Section page and load your element to that page – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-layout-builder/#templates. After that you can add Page Content element to your page and choose to display that page. Whenever you would like to make changes on your Tab Section element, you can simply edit Tab Section page :)
Best regards,

Thanks Yigit.
i understand the saving as template part and have created a new page and saved this with the page name is ‘template-solutions’. I then inserted the saved template to this page.
However I’m a little lost on how we then reference this page as the parent to the other pages being the child to reference this? Is there some ID I need to reference on the other pages?
Thanks
John
Hi John,
You can add Page Content element – https://imgur.com/a/gyPEq8z to your pages where you would like to display that Tab Section and choose “template-solutions” page :)

Many Thanks Yigit. I’ve done a test and can see how this works now.
Have a question on search / seo. Obviously this template page needs to be published to work but how do you manage this template page from being seen as anyone landing on it wouldn’t be that great with just this tabbed section. I would assume the other pages using this Page Content are OK with SEO etc.
Thanks
John
Hi John,
You can publish the page privately, it should not appear in searches if you do that.

Many thanks for the reply Rikard,
Totally forgot about that feature in WordPress.
I think you can close the thread now.
Cheers
