Good morning,
Help!! I’m a bit panicked.
I made the update of the Theme and the site started to work badly or in an anomalous way in the home in the frontend some images have disappeared, in the other pages the thumbnails of the photos are very transparent, in the backend a block of code appeared before of the standard composer.
I don’t know what to do.Give me a hand

January 17, 2021 at 6:19 am #1273014Hey Manuel,
Thanks for the login details. First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.7.6.4) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. If not then please try installing this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/, then change the jQuery version to 1.12.4 in the plugin options.
Best regards,
RikardJanuary 18, 2021 at 11:55 am #1273305Hi Rikard,
Thanks.
I installed enable jquery migrate helper an now i have this error:
jQuery Migrate Helper
Right now, you are using a plugin to support some old code in this website’s jQuery JavaScript library. That code is deprecated, meaning it is basically obsolete and is losing the support of your themes and plugins and WordPress itself.
This plugin, called Enable jQuery Migrate Helper, is not a fix. It is a temporary solution to give your plugin and theme authors time to update.
If you get warnings, please check for updated versions of the plugin or theme that generated the warning. There will very likely be one you can install. When you have updated your plugins and themes, and there are no more warnings, please deactivate Enable jQuery Migrate Helper.
You are currently using a legacy version of jQuery. It has no support and doesn’t receive security updates. Please upgrade as soon as possible. There is another point, after that i try to update the template and there is a notice :
Attention: Any modifications made to the Theme Files will be lost when updating. If you did change any files (Custom CSS rules or PHP file modifications for example) make sure to create a theme backup.
Your backend settings, posts and pages wont be affected by the update.Let me know how to continue.
January 19, 2021 at 12:27 pm #1273665Hi,
Thanks for the update. The first error message is not an error message, it simply informs you what the jQuery migrate plugin is used for, and what they state is correct.
The second notice is to remind you of the fact that any edits you have made to the parent theme files will be overwritten on updates. If you want to make sure that you do not lose anything during the update, then please keep proper backups of your site, like stated in the text.
Best regards,
RikardJanuary 21, 2021 at 5:00 pm #1274458Hi Rikard,
i made all the updates of the theme,
it seems that everything went well,
the frontend and backend are seen correctly.
But there is a strange thing,
the mobile menu gone.
I do not understand why.
Are you giving me news?Thank you very much
ManuelJanuary 21, 2021 at 5:57 pm #1274479Hi Manuel,
Well, there is that issue with WordPress5.6 now, so if you can stay on WordPress5.5.3 till the next theme update, would be great and you should get your mobile menu back.

VictoriaJanuary 27, 2021 at 10:17 am #1275685Good morning Victoria,
The lightness of the answer is disarming!
I’m going into crisis to make a trivial update
and you ask me to downgrade do wordpress ..
The problem seems serious enough to me
Can you do it? I give you the accesses.
I will make a backupJanuary 27, 2021 at 10:35 am #1275703Hi Manuel Curatolo,
Yes, please make a backup and let’s try to downgrade. You can always update WordPress but the website has to be in working condition, I understand.
Best regards,
VictoriaJanuary 27, 2021 at 10:51 am #1275713Hi Victoria,
The site should always work.
If it needs to be stopped for maintenance, please tell me
that I warn the customer.Best regards,
ManuelJanuary 28, 2021 at 9:43 am #1276007Hi Manuel,
Thanks for the update and sorry for the problem. I set the jQuery version on your site to 1.12.4, and that brings back the mobile menu. This problem will be fixed in the next update of the theme, which should be available within a few days. We already have code for this, so if you want us to implement it on your site, then please let us know if we are allowed to do so. If you prefer that we don’t do that, then simply continue using the jQuery migrate helper plugin, until the next version of the theme is installed on your site.
Best regards,
RikardJanuary 29, 2021 at 1:23 pm #1276289Hi Rikard,
you advise me.
If it comes to waiting for the new update a couple of days, I’ll wait.
(I tell the customer to have a little patience). You wrote me that tending the jquery version
“iI set the jQuery version on your site to 1.12.4, and that brings back the mobile menu.”
The floating menu appears.
I don’t see it, maybe I misunderstood.give me some news

ManuelFebruary 2, 2021 at 3:34 pm #1277165Hi Rikard,
Do you know how long you have to wait for the new update, which allows you to bring up menus in mobile mode?
give me some news
Best regards,
ManuelFebruary 11, 2021 at 4:57 am #1279647Hi Manuel,
I’m very sorry for the late reply. I checked your site again, and the jQuery migrate plugin was set to 1.12.4, but the front end was cached, so the mobile menu wasn’t working. I cleared the cache, and the mobile menu started working after that.
The new version of the theme is still not available, but we have a fix for the mobile menu already, which we can implement on your site, if you like. If you would like that, then we can do that via FTP. Please verify that you have backups of your site, before we implement the fix for you.
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 11, 2021 at 12:24 pm #1279722Hi Rickard,
thanks I saw that the “mobile menu has reappeared” I notified the customer.
I have backed up the site.
If the work of editing for the mobile menu is not very in vain and you recommend it, go ahead. Thanks, see you soon
Manuerl CuratoloFebruary 13, 2021 at 6:02 am #1280228Hi,
Thanks for the update. I’ve implemented the fix on your site, and the menu works as expected now when the jQuery version is changed to the default WordPress version. You can deactivate and delete the plugin now, if you don’t need it for something else.
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 15, 2021 at 11:20 am #1280491Thanks Rickard,
I am happy that everything works and I am happy with the support.
I hope … “at the next theme update” that I no longer have these problems.I make a request, the customer wants to expose the photos of his Instagram profile on the site. If you know it, can you give me the name of a plugin that talks well with Enfold?
Thanks, see you soon
ManuelFebruary 17, 2021 at 5:10 am #1281580Hi Manuel,
