    Hi
I am building a site that offers Financial Services – the main service offering break down into six sections:
    Mortgages
    Life Assurance
    General Insurance
    Protection
    Health Insurance
    Equity Release
This is fine and works well when I go into the services page as these become child pages underneath the services parent section (which gives the left sidebar navigation of the other service areas)
However, I am trying to create a further breakdown of these services into bus-sections but face the following issues:

If I try and create a full-width submenu in the page it goes across the full width of the page and breaks up the left-hand sidebar – Can I create a submenu that stays in the main area rather than expanding over the left sidebar also.

    or

Can I create a second set of subpages that only appear in the left-hand sidebar in the section I am showing at that point in time? for example – currently, If I go into services I see all six service offerings: Mortgages, Life Assurance, General Insurance,l Protection, Health Insurance, Equity Release
I want to show the 5 different types of Equity Release but if I make these pages have a parent page of Equity Release they show in the navigation in the left column at all times, instead I only want these sub menus to show when the Equity Release section has been selected.
    Can this be done?

Is it possible to get an update on this?

    Thank you

    Hi Ben,

The full-width submenu will always break the sidebar. These elements are kind of mutually exclusive.

As for the different menus for the sidebar, you can build custom menus and assign to the sidebar for different pages. Or use some menu plugin that will give you the flexibility that you need.

If you need further assistance please let us know.
    Best regards,
    Victoria
