    When I check the text of many posts strange HTML text has been added – not by me. What is this?
    Example of just the beginning of the strange HTML code:
    <!– [if gte mso 9]><xml>
    <w:WordDocument>
    <w:View>Normal</w:View>
    <w:Zoom>0</w:Zoom>
    <w:PunctuationKerning/>
    <w:ValidateAgainstSchemas/>
    <w:SaveIfXMLInvalid>false</w:SaveIfXMLInvalid>

    Hey classywebsites,

    It’s hard for us to determine why that is added, it might be one of the plugins installed. Try to disable all plugins then create a new post add same information and check if the code is still modified. If it is you can try to enable one by one while doing the steps before to identify which plugin is causing it.

    Thank you for looking into this. I have created new posts with all plugins installed with no problem.
    The added code appears to be that I was pasting text from Microsoft Word.
    On the visual tab it appeared to be only text.
    On the text tab it included plenty of extra HTML.
    I searched all posts for <w:WordDocument> and manually removed the extra HTML code.

    Hope others find this thread useful.
