Hi
I’m updating our website in 2 different languages: French (main) and English.
On the homepage some plugins work fine on the French version but not on the English one and I can’t fix the problem. I tried to re-create the content but nothing changes.
– LayerSlider
– EasySlider
– Animated numbers
– GaleryDo you have any idea?
Many thanks!
MorganeNovember 7, 2019 at 6:22 am #1154539Hey Morgane,
Sorry for the problem. I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (4.6.3.1) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.6.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
After you have updated then try to activate the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,

thanks a lot for your kind reply.
I followed all of your steps but unfortunately nothing changed:1/ I updated the theme manually uploading the theme zip file
2/ I replaced the whole folder via FTP
3/ I added an Envato private tokenJust I can’t see where to activate the Classic Editor and what I should do with that, could you drive me please?
Best regards

MorganeNovember 12, 2019 at 8:38 am #1155860Hi Morgane,
Thanks for that. I’m not sure exactly what is going wrong on your installation, but I see that you have the LayerSlider installed as a separate plugin, and the bundled version is active as well. What happens if you disable the LayerSlider plugin? If that doesn’t change anything then please try to disable all plugins except WPML to see if there is conflict coming from any of them.

RikardNovember 13, 2019 at 6:53 pm #1156471Hi Rikard,
disabling all the plugins did not change a thing BUT I simply deleted the current English page and created a new one from scratch and now everything is fine.
Thank you again for your help and kind advices.
