    Hi,

    I recently update my site to WP 5.7, and the enfold theme to 4.8.1. Since then I have had a few issues:
    1) The video background from the color section stopped working. I seem to be unable to set any media as the background (image or video) only a solid color.
    2) The shrinking menu has stopped working. It no longer shrinks or switches the logo. When scrolling down I don’t see any css classes changing.

    3) On mobile the menu completely does not work. I changed the code to the menu code to the code provided in the forums but this didn’t fix the issue.

    For all these I also tried using the jQuery Migrate Helper plugin but it did not fix any of the issues

    Hi,

    Thanks for that. The SG Optimiser plugin was creating problems on your site, it does that when file compression is active in the theme options. I’ve turned that off for you, and your site looks to function as it should now. Please review it.

    Should compression be disabled in the SG optimizer or in the Theme?

    @tier1graphics     since they are doing the same thing, you can disable it either in plugin or theme settings :)


    @marketing_boutique     You are currently using Enfold 4.5.7 which is not compatible with your WordPress version
    Please refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/ and update Enfold to the latest version 4.8.2.
    Then, please generate a Personal Token by referring to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token and insert it in Enfold theme options to receive auto updates :)

    If you would like us to update the theme for you, please have a backup, create a new thread under Enfold sub forum https://kriesi.at/support/forum/enfold#new-post and attach FTP and WP admin logins in private content field :)

    Hi Julia,

    If you have added your custom CSS in Enfold theme options > General Styling > Quick CSS, you can go ahead and update the theme. If you added your custom CSS into /enfold/custom.css file, those and any additional code you added to functions.php file would be overwritten.

    If you have not modified theme files, feel free to update the theme :)
