Hi, somehow the social icons are not shown anymore in the footer.
What can we do to solve the problem.This is a known issue using Enfold after updating to WordPress 5.3.1.
Luckily, the Kriesi Media development team at Enfold have addressed the issue. The solution to the problem will be included within the next Enfold theme release which is expected sometime after the holidays. In the meantime, they have provided us with a way to patch the issue and restore the social media icon font functionality.
The solution involves simply replacing an existing file, specifically “function-set-avia-frontend.php” located within your “wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/” directory.
You may obtain the updated “function-set-avia-frontend.php” file from the following KriesiMedia GitHub repository:

I have already applied the patch which worked fine for the header but in the widgets area (where I copied and pasted the code from the header area that created the icons) it is not working. See private link for website in the first column widget area.

RikardHi, thank you for the reply. I changed the function-set-avia-frontend.php file and deleted the cache and the cookies, but the icons are still not there. What should I check?

I attached the latest available beta version of Enfold in private content field. Please update the theme and that should fix icon issue you are having.
