    Guys is it possible to have a simple round border search button in the top bar like this site have
    http://www.benteler.com/
    instead of having the bigger ajax version that we currently have.
    and have it right before or after the social media icons in the main header area

    Hey!

    Please refer to this post – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/adding-a-widget-area-to-the-header/ and add widget area to your header and add search bar into that widget area.
    You can go to Enfold theme options > Header > Extra Elements and uncheck “Append search icon to main menu” to remove ajax search icon
