    Hi, I use Enfold with a lot of sites. This time I just installed it and logged into WordPress to start working on the pages.
    As soon as I select a page to work on and click work on, it will load endlessly…
    So I actually don’t even get to work on the page.
    What can be done?

    It is the page of a client, I need a quick fix. Have done many Clients pages using Enfold and never had the problem before.

    Hey Vada,

    Sorry for the problem. I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (4.7.3) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.7.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

    You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

    If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

    After you have updated then try to activate the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options.

    Hi, I got a similar issue again with another clients page.
    She cannot work on her pages anymore, it is loading endlessly again.
    The Enfold Theme is an old version 3.8, so I wanted to upload the new one.
    But it won’t be shown. Where or how can I get the latest version for the Enfold them?
    On Themeforest where we got it, we bought the theme a loooot of times for our clients, so I dont know which download belongs to whom or if I can find it there.

    I installed the plugin “Update theme and plugins from ziplfiles’.
    I hope you can help me with it.

    The client started having the trouble after updating themes on her wordpress dashboard.

    Thank you,
    it worked and we can work on the pages again. BUT some things are missing.
    We created a child theme years ago that all our clients are using.
    With the updated version, the child theme won’t work.
    Can we do anything about it?

    For now I activated the enfold theme new version 7.4.5. and deactivated the childtheme, otherwise the sites are empty.

    On our landingpages there used to be buttons, they are gone now, even though the codes are put on the correct place.
    The client had everything set up with a email-marketing-tool and a tool for webinars. So this is where we have the codes from for the buttons.
    Is there anything I could do, to keep the new enfold version, while getting all settings back like the button?
    Or do we have to build it new?

    Hi Vada,

    Child theme; the file or code structure likely changed between the old and new versions of the theme, so I would recommend that you start off with a clean child theme, then add back your customisations to it one by one.

    Buttons and email marketing; I’m not sure exactly how you did this, but I don’t think that it’s theme specific? If you need help with this then please try to explain the problem a bit further.
