    Hi there,

I sorted my categories and in the setting of woocommerce I chose –> products –> display –> shop page display and there I chose ‘categories’.

But although I sorted all my categories by drag and drop there are only six categories showing in the shop page. And they are not sorted in the order they should be.

Where can I manage to show only the( about ten) categories on the shop page?

The order in the sidebar is correct, but in the main part in the middle oft the page are only six categories, and the order is wrong.

    Best regards, Joachim

    Hi there,

perhaps anyone can tell me something about a solution with shortcodes.

Because the Shop Page with categories doens’t display correct, I made another page and added a shortcode:
    [product_categories columns="4" parent="0" hide_empty="0"]

Everything was ok: All main categories were shown, without subcategories, in 4 columns, without the empty categories.

So I published the page and made it the shop page. Since then this page shows exactly the same wrong category display: six categories from about 10, in no special order.

Because it worked in the beginning, I think about using the shortcode on the real original ‘shop’ page. But I don’t know, if I destroy the shop page totally with a shortcode.

    Any idea?

    Best regards, Joachim

    Hi!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

But although I sorted all my categories by drag and drop there are only six categories showing in the shop page. And they are not sorted in the order they should be.

Did you install a plugin? This is not possible by default. Please note that the main shop page will only display the main categories.

Because the Shop Page with categories doens’t display correct, I made another page and added a shortcode:
    [product_categories columns=”4″ parent=”0″ hide_empty=”0″]

If you set the page as the “shop” page, it’s going to ignore the shortcode and use the default product template.

    Cheers!

    Hi there,

just to finish this: I ended up with the short code solution. When you don’t set to ‘shop’, its ok.

    Greetings,
    Joachim
