    Hi..

    I have some problems when I try to set last news widget on the right side of my single post entries and blog page..

    At enfold child menu, I am selecting right sidebar for “sidebar on archieve pages and sidebar on single pages.

    However, the sidebar is still on the left side..

    This shouldnt be like that.. There is a problem with theme…

    Hey Rikard..

    I have shared user information in private content..

    by the way I have another problem also..

    Despite I have selected no sidebar on page settings, all my pages have sidebars also..
    Actually I dont want to add more css code to fix this problem.. Because it is a very usual thing, and even free themes are more stable when i try to set up sidebar settings..

    Hi,

    I have downloaded the last enfold theme from envato..

    However, it still shows my sidebars on the left side of post entries, even though I have selected the right..

    I think, there is no change..

    Hi ozyazgane,

    Can you disable the caching plugin please for now?
    Neither WordPress nor WooCommerce works with such php version well. You need to update it.

    are u connecting from kiev?

    which plug in do u mean? I have w3 total cache and autoptimize at the same time?

    In addition, somehow I couldnt see the image in private content..

    Try the image again. It is still there. Yes, both plugins.

    Hi Victoria.

    If I dont misunderstand, you mean that i should deactivate both caching plug ins w3 total cache and autoptimize..

    As i know, a caching plug in makes my site faster and makes upload times shorter..

    If i follow your suggest I will have new problems..

    I think there is a software problem with theme enfold, it should be figured out.. But you suggest me to deactivate caching plugins.. I have some other sites by free themes. Even free themes let me set right sidebar or left sidebar for post entries…

    Do you think enfold should have responsibility in this problem and figure out this problem as soon as possible?

    Hi,

    Yes, those plugins have functionality for your site, but we’re asking you to deactivate them for testing purposes, you can turn them back on after you have have tested that there is no conflict or caching issues.

    Hi Rikard,

    Now I have deactivated and entered my website again.. There is no change..

    Even though I have selected right sidebars on every possible settings options, my sidebar is at the left side, also I cant set up which items or widgets I will show at the sidebars.. So I can not set up which side the sidebar should be, and additionally, I can not organize, what I will show on that sidebars..

    By the way, I have written a ticket to my hosting provider company about updating the php version to 5.6. I think that they will answer on Monday.

    I am wondering, only the person, having this problem is me?

    Hi,

    Ok, thanks for the feedback. Did you clear all the cache from the caching plugin before you deactivated it as well?

    I’m not sure what PHP version you are running right now, but 5.6 is the minimum recommended version for running WordPress, so you should probably consider to update to an even higher version. PHP7 would be preferred.

    As far as I know you are the only one with this problem yes, I’ve never seen any other sites where this is happening before.

    By the way, if you should need support in turkish then we have a turkish speaking moderator.

    I have cleared my cache. Actually I always clear my cache..

    I have taken support from hosting company, and at the moment, my PHP version is 7.0

    However, I still have same problem.. Even though I select righr sidebar, right sidebar at all the settings, I see left sidebar on post entries and my on my blog pages..

    I will explain again..

    I have done what you suggest..

    At all possible option menus, I have selected right sidebar, however, I have my sidebars on left side of the blog pages, and blog entries…

    In addition to this, despite I select no sidebar for single pages, I have SIDEBARS and AGAIN ON THE LEFT SIDE OF MY PAGES. despite I HAVE SELECTED AT ALL THE POSSIBLE OPTION MENUS, NO SIDE BAR.

    At the beginning Victoria told me to update my PHP version.. I HAVE UPDATED PHP VERSION; BUT AGAIN AND AGAIN THERE IS NO CHANGE..

    Victoria and Rikard told me to disable caching plugins. I HAVE DISABLED CACHING PLUGINS, THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE. I STILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.

    MOREOVER, EVEN THOUGH I AM SELECTING SOME WIDGETS TO SHOW ON THIS SIDEBARS, SIDEBARS SHOWS DEFAULT MENUS. I CANT EVEN ORGANIZE WHAT TO SHOW ON SIDEBARS..

    THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH SIDEBARS AND NOBODY ADMITS: TIME PASSES.. I AM AWAITING FROM ANY MODERATOR THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THIS THEME AND THEY WILL FIGURE OUT THIS PROBLEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE…

    EVEN FREE THEMES LET ME SELECT AND ORGANIZE MY SIDEBARS EASIER AND CORRECTLY..

    Hi ozyazgane,

    The thing is that the database version that you’re using is older than the one that is required by WooCommerce and WordPress. I set the setting to no sidebar and there were no changes. The sidebar settings are not saved.

    Could also be the caching is very aggressive.

    Telling me that it could be bla bla… doesnt make any sense.. just like your first theory about php version, NOW I AM SURE THAT YOU AND OTHER MODERATORS CAN NOT SOLVE MY PROBLEM… IN ADDITION TO THIS YOU AND THEY DONT CARE

    In the last 10 days some moderators write their theories about the reasons of my problem, each time I am trying to prove that they are wrong.. and THE TIME PASSES…

    Noone of you could help me about my problem..

    Victoria told me that my database version may be lower than required for wordpress and woocommerce.. I could not understand which database does she talk about..

    I have written a ticket to hosting company to understand which database Victoria intended to..

    At the moment, I have bought an AVADA WORDPRESS THEME..

    Will you help mo or should I change my theme,and you dont care?

    I asked my other colleagues to have a look at your issue. Avada will not help you if your server configuration is out of date, it can give unexpected results too.
