Setting up a forum

Hi
Big fan of your theme, use it with almost all the websites I have designed.

I am currently setting up a forum page for a client and would like to know if there are instructions for this somewhere or if there is a plugin you recommend for ‘forums’. The forum you have on this page is perfect with the login feature etc, can you let me know if you use plugins for this?
