    Hi
your theme uses an very oldschool-technic (downscaling via HTML)
This has impact on our speed values.
It cant be solved via option, and at least it regards the gallery widget and the masonry-element

    Hi heiratenmitstil,

Some of our elements use the scrset for the images and so images are loaded according to the screen size, but it has not been implemented in all elements. The devs have been focusing on changes in the Envato API and making the theme compatible with Gutenberg.

You can try using a plugin like

    Hi,

The srcset option is currently under development, but it might take a while before it will be fully implemented in the theme. Which element are you trying to optimize? These articles should help you optimize the images, and the theme in general.

“Answers” like this, which show that you simply dont care and didnt read the posting, make people give you poor ratings on Envato.
Why dont you just show a bit respect to your customers and read what they are talking about?

    Hi,

Sorry about that. We can’t really tell you anything aside from the fact that the feature is currently under development. Unfortunately, we don’t know the exact date when it will be available, or if it’s going to be added at all. Having an srcset attribute or multiple thumbnails to select from is really advantageous, but it doesn’t mean that you will no longer be able to optimize the images without the attribute as seen in one of the articles above. The demo site achieved perfect score in Google PageSpeed Insights without the feature or attribute.

What you can do for now is to concentrate on other areas of the site, and optimize those instead. Start by reading the articles above. You can also look for plugins that enable responsive images as @Victoria suggested above if you really need to enable the srcset attribute.

    Thank you for understanding.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
