    Hi,

My SEO Tool shows me strange dead Links like this:
    https://tombeck-zauberer.de/zauberer-berlin/_wp_link_placeholder
    https://tombeck-zauberer.de/zauberer-nuernberg/_wp_link_placeholder

this is very bad for the seo results and i cant find a solution.
i cant find anything which causes the _wp_link_placeholder links!?

all plugins disabled, all theme files replaced with fresh copy and deleted first the old files.
seems to be a enfold problem, because i cant find the issue on google with other themes !?

    can anybody help me?
    THX

    Hey ak-muc,
I only found a couple of references to “_wp_link_placeholder”
    once with this theme
once with this plugin and this plugin but all are old.

I scanned WordPress and Enfold and found that it is coming from WordPress in:
    \wp-includes\js\wplink.js or \wp-includes\js\tinymce\plugins\wplink\plugin.js

I checked your sites feeds but the link is not listed, so I’m not sure how it was created or from where, but I can’t recreate the error. If this is a new error in WordPress it could take awhile before it’s discovered.

I recommend either adding it to you robots.txt as a disallow or add a redirect in your .htaccess to a page of your choice.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi,
Unfortunately, we were not able to reproduce this error back in 2019, if you are experiencing something similar now please open a new thread and include an admin login in the Private Content area so we can investigate. Typically a good starting point is to disable all of your plugins and enable one at a time until the error occurs. Please also include the results of this test in your new thread.

    Best regards,
    Mike
