    My client absolutely wants the search box, and date (which I have added a script to the searchform.php file that adds that) in the space to the right of the logo. I have positioned the div that has the input field for this form in the right area, but I still can’t get the date to sit next to it, and the field also gets bumped around do to the fact that it is still part of the navigation, and I cannot figure out how to get the actual form #seachform to sit in that position. Does this make sense? Any help is much appreciated. Here is the site –

    Thanks!

    I am also wondering if the search can be present in mobile view?

    Thanks again for any insight into the issues that I am trying to solve within the Enfold theme.

    Great thank you!
    I am only struggling, now, with the placement of the search.

    I have it positioned to the right of the logo by putting this in the css –

    #top #searchform > * {
    opacity: 1 !important;
    display: block !important;
    top: -73px;
    margin-left: 20px;
    }

    Though, if you take a look at it –

    … at smaller browser widths that search field jumps down another 73px, I think, because the search form is in the menu and the menu starts to wrap. Right? Is there any way to have the search field stay in the same spot to the right of the logo. Also, in the mobile nav, the menu is overlapping the links at the bottom. Is there a way to have it at the top of the mobile menu?

    Help is greatly appreciated. If I need to pay for this type of adjustment, please let me know. Thanks so much.

    Hi,

    you can use media queries for different results on different screensizes, something like this:

    @media only screen
      and (min-width: 768px)
      and (max-width: 1024px) {
    #top #searchform > * {
    top: -104px;
    left: -100px !important;
    }}

    Adjust as needed.

    For your searchform on mobile menu use this:

    @media only screen
      and (max-width: 768px) {
    #top #searchform {
    position: relative;
    top: 166px;
    }}

    and adjust as needed.

    Best regards,
    Andy
