Hi, I have set an element’s Screen Options to only display for mobile screens however it is still displaying on desktop screens and mobile screens. Can you please assist.

Hi,

I wanted to check for errors in custom CSS but you do not have any custom CSS. I noticed you have two Enfold installations. Could you please delete older version and then point out the section which is not hidden on desktop?

Hi, I have set the settings on the home page “OUR FULL SUITE ACCOUNTING SERVICE” element. It is set to not display on desktop but still displays.

Hi,

Could you please post FTP logins as well and can we update Enfold to the latest version?
Issue might be related to modified files in your child theme. First i would like to disable these files and check if it helps :)

Hi,

Thanks for that. Could you try to update to the latest version of the theme (4.5.5) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.5.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

If that doesn’t work then please delete the old version of the theme, then upload the new one. Make sure that you have backups of the site before you start updating.

Hi Rikard,

Please note that we are using a child theme. We have tried updating the theme and the child theme with both ways and it either broke or did not change the current version. Can I give you ftp access for you to attempt this yourself?
