I’m having trouble with Avia Layout Builder. I used to be able to drag and drop elements into position – but now only the background (wordpress) will scroll — the avia section doesn’t.
    Thank you!

    Hey JenniferHillberg,

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi JenniferHillberg,

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

Hello Victoria — were you able to get into my website to see how to fix the problem? I didn’t hear back from you.

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. I can’t see any login details unfortunately, could you try posting them again please?

About your problem; we are aware of it and we’re working on a fix. A temporary solution would be to switch to the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options. Please refer to this: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/shortcodes-window-after-updating-to-wordpress-5-4/

Oh my gosh, same! I’ve used Enfold 2017 for a few years but just recently got a new license for another site and noticed I have to use the arrow button on the keyboard when dragging a new element to the bottom of the page, whereas before, it would scroll automatically just by moving the mouse to the bottom edge of the browser. It makes adding new content elements from Avia builder much slower and super annoying.

    Hi Sclark91,

Did you click on the link I posted here in this thread? If not then please do so and read what it says there.

    Best regards,

I followed the directions to change to classic editor in main theme page — but now it doesn’t let me use Avia Layout — so basically – it “fixed” the problem by removing the program I used to do posts. Not really a great solution.
I’ll resend (private) my temp password for assistance.

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.7.4) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi again,

I see that you haven’t added a token to the backend of the theme either, please refer to this for instructions: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

    Best regards,

I am having this problem, screen doesn’t scroll in Avia Advanced Layout Builder. Makes it very difficult to use. I have seen others post this problem, but the solution always seems to require an admin to log in. Can someone help me with this? Thanks.
