    Hi all,
We have a marketing company that is creating blogs every two weeks for us. They write the post and then schedule it to go public in the ‘publish’ section, for the future however, the post does not change status from ‘scheduled’ to ‘public’ at the designated date and does not appear automatically.
    Can you help please?
    Regards
    Neil

    Hey Neil,

Did you check if this functionality is working with the default theme?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hey Victoria,
We have removed all default themes to leave just Enfold.
Do you think it is a theme problem then?
I am a little nervous to switch themes as we have Enfold looking good and we do not have hours to restore the site if things are ‘not quite right’ when we switch back to Enfold.
Is there anything we can test without having to switch to a default theme?
    Thanks
    Neil

    Hi Neil,

Can you create a stage site (just a duplicate of your site on a subdomain of your site, where you have same settings), then in that site try to use the default wordpress theme like twentyseventeen and check if the functionality works.

I guess it’s more like a wordpress issue not the theme, you can also check this: https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/74030/force-publish-future-scheduled-posts-immediately

    Hope those links helps :)

    Best regards,
    Nikko
