    Hello at Kriesi,
I have used the post slider and magazine element on my landingpage. On tablets and mobile the images in the single post entry are looking good, but on mobile they are not scaled to the correct format. GT Metrix remembers me to scale them from 705×469 to 228×152 px, 710×375 to 311×164 px, 705×442 to 228×143 px, 705×369 to 228×120, 705×470 to 228×152 and more.
    – How can I achive that?
    – How can I achieve that all scaled images have the same size?

    Important background information:
    1. On tablets and below the thumbnail images are shown in 100% width, so they are scaled up again.
    2. I am running the plugin adaptive images which scales down the images on mobile, which is working fine (GT Metrix says).

    Thank you!
    Best
    Sigmund

    Hey Sigmund,

You can change it by installing this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/ after activating it go to Settings > Media, adjust the sizes then click on regenerate thumbnail button. Hope this helps :)

    Hi Nikko,
I have tried that, it resizes the images in the responsive versions also. Do you have another solution?

    Hi,

You can’t assign different thumbnails for desktop or mobile view. Please try to add another slider and set a different thumbnail or Preview Image Size. Use the elements Screen Option to toggle their visibility on different screen sizes. Basically, you’ll have two versions of the same element, one for desktop and another for mobile view.

    Hi Ismael,
I was afraid of that answer ;-) I will try that.

    Thanks!
