We are using a child theme and the Enfold Version: 4.5.2

Our news are always based on a similar layout (see first link in private content).
As you can see, before the footer we have a blog post element.

In the last news we publish, we cannot save all the content (see second link in private content).
When we try to add the block with blog post element, and try to save the post, saving process go to an infinite loop:
    – on the left I see message “Post updated.View Post”
    – on the top right I see only message “Saving” and the saving process doesn’t end
    – after stopping that, the post is completely brocken

    See image for detail:

Recreating the article from scratch doesn’t solve the problem.
    We are stuck on this.

In private content you have all informations.
Please let me know what can we do.

    Hey ingrandimenti,

Thanks for the login details. What happens if you select to use the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options? Also please consider updating to the latest version of the theme (4.5.7): https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard, thanks

Theme upgraded to the last version.
I’ve Choosed classic editor and edit post.

After pressing update button without modifications everything go well.
Adding an element (blogs post), after pressing update button I go on that message:

    Gone
    The requested resource
    /wp-admin/post.php
is no longer available on this server and there is no forwarding address. Please remove all references to this resource.

    Obvoiusly, the file exist:

Disabling modsecurity on cpanel all works well, but I think this is not a clean solution.

    please let me know,

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

You should try and ask your hosting provider to have the admin-ajax.php file white listed or rule out of the mod security module. Let us know if that helps. The module tends to block that file because it creates a lot of requests.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

Do you think we can whitelist the file through the cpanel?

    many thanks!

    Hi,

Yes, if you have access to the ruleset or the modsecurity.conf file. The location of that file might differ for each server, so we can’t really tell you where to look. If you don’t have access to it, then you have to ask your hosting provider.

    Thank you for the update.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
