Rotator headline hangs when navigating away from the tab and coming back. The rotating part of the text is simply not showing. Same with the auto-play testimonials.
April 27, 2015 at 3:32 pm #435314Hey radugidei!
Could you provide us with a link to the site in question so that we can take a closer look please? Also, what browser are you using to reproduce the error?

I tried reproducing the error by loading the site then navigating away and going to another tab and back but it all displays fine on my end using latest Safari/OSX. Are there any special steps to reproducing? Try clearing your browser cache and reload a few times to see if that helps.

There are no special steps to reproduce unfortunately, as soon as I navigate away or even switch to a different program like Mail, all the animations on the page hang.
i’ll try clearing the cache, but i just noticed it happens on my iPhone 6 as well (iOS 8.2) but a bit differently : the rotator headline still works, but the testimonials slideshow disappears just like on desktop. All i did was open a new tab with a different site, then went back to it.April 29, 2015 at 5:00 am #436470Hi!
Thanks for the info, I’ve asked the rest of the team to take a look as well.

RikardApril 29, 2015 at 5:12 am #436478I’m also experiencing the same issue as radugidei with the testimonial slideshow on my Mac in Safari 8.0.5 Anytime a new tab is opened and then you come back to the page the testimonial slideshow disappears. This also happens on the enfold demos.
April 29, 2015 at 1:55 pm #436649Hi all,
same problem here using OS-X 10.9.5 and Safari 7.1.5.
Works with Firefox 37.0.2.p.s. Rotator headline and testimonials hangs on iPhone 6 with IOS 8.3, too.

Sorry for the trouble, we’re still investigating why this is happening on Safari. The javascript still executes as it seems after leaving the tab/minimising window, but for some reason Safari does not fire the transition.

Thanks for the update, any progress on this bug ?May 20, 2015 at 6:27 pm #447368Hey!
I don’t have a Mac to test on but I checked in Safari on Windows but couldn’t reproduce it there. Must be just a OSX issue. I flagged this for Kriesi as well.
Best regards,

Its actually a safari issue that we are aware of. We are currently gathering infos from various users and once we have a solution we will include it in the next update :)
Thanks for your patience on this one, it actually seems to be a tricky problem that might be caused by the macs energy saving…
