    Hey rsilvestre,

    Please copy search.php to your child theme, then cut this part out:

                        <div class='page-heading-container clearfix'>
                            <section class="search_form_field">
                                <?php
                                echo "<h4>".__('New Search','avia_framework')."</h4>";
                                echo "<p>".__('If you are not happy with the results below please do another search','avia_framework')."</p>";

                                get_search_form();
                                echo "<span class='author-extra-border'></span>";
                                ?>
                            </section>
                        </div>

    And paste it just above this comment:

    <!--end content-->

    Best regards,

    Hello friend, now that I realized that the results are not clickable, see:
    https://www.portallinhares.com.br/?s=marcela&numberposts=5&results_hide_fields=

    Is there any way to show the thumbnail too?

    #1306276

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. I can’t reproduce those results on a test installation though, did you make any other changes to the search results template?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi, I would like your attention in this case… you told me to paste the code above <!–end content–>, I did it but the results do not appear clickable, that is, the result appears but without a clickable link.

    Does this procedure only work in the child theme?

    #1319630

    Hi,

    I just checked on a test installation, and the links are clickable on my end. It works in the parent theme, but I would recommend that you add the modification in a child theme, since it will be overwritten on updates otherwise.

    I’m trying to use the child theme, I’ve never used it, but now I need to use it to modify the functions.php. I saw an article about enfold child theme but the child theme is out of date. I installed it on wordpress and it’s giving this error: http://prntscr.com/1rhkp1j
    Update the page explaining about the child enfold theme, make a video, you have a good team for that.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. Did you rename the parent theme? If you need further help with this, then please include admin WordPress and FTP login details in private.

    I need a step-by-step guide to teach me how to work with a child theme of enfold.

    I’ve done it according to this page: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/child-theme/ … but the message is showing: “The ascending theme does not exist. Install the “enfold” theme.” … the enfold theme is installed.

    enfold theme installed and child theme giving error: http://prntscr.com/1rn8v53

    I would like to learn how to do it so I can do it with other sites.

    After I learn how to install the child theme, I’ll do what you taught me: http://prntscr.com/1rn90g6 and I’ll see if it works. Until then my problem is that when I do this, the results appear but the links are not clickable, it is just a title without a link.

    thank you.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that. I’ve fixed the child theme for you (parent theme had the wrong name), and I’ve copied search.php to your child, and the edit I suggested above is implemented as well. Please review your site.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hello friend, thank you very much. I have another site with the same problem, can you tell me in detail what to do?

    #1321233

    If it doesn’t bother you, I’ll give you the ftp data for you to fix.

    Hi,

    All you need to do is to copy search.php to your child theme, then change the location of the code that I referred to earlier in this thread. If you can’t get it working, then please share WordPress and FTP login details for your other site with us as well.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
