Hi, I have serious issues with the responsive version of a website running on WP 4.9.2 and Enfold 3.9.
It was running fine after I left it to my former boss (a politic), at the end of september. Since then, I did not add any plugin or changed anything to the features of the website, except the updates). Since a couple of weeks (I quite don’t know the precise time because i’m not in charge anymore of the website, I only help my former colleague), it doesnt work anymore on smartphones !!! The complete graphic wrapping has disappeared and only a text version (with all apparent coding for the slideshow, for exemple) appears now, as you will be able to check (screenshot on my iphone in a wetransfer link). Can you please help me putting everything back in order ? Thanks !January 17, 2018 at 6:48 pm #898621Hey Alexandre,
Please, you need to update our theme because the latest WordPress version does not compatible with the 3.9 Enfold version. Check here to learn how to update: https://kriesi.at/archives/the-complete-guide-to-updating-enfold

John TorvikJanuary 28, 2018 at 1:42 pm #903872Hi, thanks for your quick answer (I thought I would have a mail notification, I only read your answer now).
I read and read all that was necessary (your process, the WPbeginner page, the codex) for updating safely my theme (child theme process, as I did not create a child theme first).
As I already did changes in the enfold configuration (colors, header, fonts…) of this website (only in the backoffice of the Enfold theme, not directly in the files), I tried to compare (with kaleidoscope) the style.css files on my ftp and the one coming with the new Enfold 4.2 package. I don’t find there any mentions of colors, fonts… or any customization but only read this (see below) !
As I try to compare the custom.css, I still donc read anything regarding to fonts, color, header options. Only blank lines below the desktop and mobile versions…
I’m not a css php specialist at all, and I feel a bit confused in front of all this. Can you please help me ? Thanks a lot !
What about the Enfold-theme-settings-2018-1-28.txt file ? Does it help in this case ?style.css :
-* This file is only in your themefolder for WordPress to recognize basic theme data like name and version
* CSS Rules in this file will not be used by the theme.
* Instead use the custom.css file that is located in your themes /css/ folder to add your styles.
* You can copy a style rule from any of your css files and paste it in custom.css and
* it will override the original style. If you just want to add small css snippets you might also
* want to consider to add it to the designated CSS option field in your themes backend at: Theme Options->General Styling- This reply was modified 6 years, 11 months ago by alexandre_valee.
January 30, 2018 at 7:15 am #904644Hi,
The theme’s dynamic stylesheet is located in the wp-content > uploads > dynamic_avia folder. Once the child theme is activated, you can import the parent theme options as stated on the documentation.

IsmaelMarch 16, 2018 at 4:48 pm #928166Hi ismael. this website is now running on the latests versions of WP and Enfold 4.2.6.
The mobile issue is still the same ! Can you please check veroniquewaroux.info on desktop and mobile, you’ll see there’s a big issue but I dont quite understand what it is. Thanks.March 19, 2018 at 10:21 am #928972Second issue, several hours after updating Enfold this friday, the website on http://www.veroniquewaroux.info is giving an http500 error on desktop, and the issue (theme not working) is still the same on mobile (no http500 there) ??? Please help us quickly !
March 19, 2018 at 2:23 pm #929066I also update my server to php 7.0 (it was still a 4.4 version, with no maintenance anymore from OVH).
The desktop version seems to be back online (no http500 anymore). The mobile issue is still the same. I hope someone here will be able to help me.March 20, 2018 at 3:03 am #929475Hi,
Thank you for the update. I don’t really see any issues with the mobile version of the site. The mobile menu, which is the most common problem after an update to this version, is working properly. Could you be more specific with the issues? You can upload the screenshot on imgur or dropbox.

IsmaelMarch 20, 2018 at 7:49 am #929570Hi,
I cant be more specific than this ;-)
https://www.dropbox.com/s/5tgujb6s3z4mn7q/IMG_1103.PNG?dl=0This is what I get on my iPhone, and what my collega get on her Samsung. So no point with the version of mobile navigator. When I reduce my window on desktop, the website reacts correctly. On a mobile (I already erased cookies and cache on it), I get a text only version.
Hope you will be able to help me !

March 21, 2018 at 5:39 am #930303Hi Alexandre,
Thanks for the screenshot. That is coming from the JetPack plugin, I’m not sure what the exact setting is, but I think you should be able to find it?
Best regards,
RikardMarch 21, 2018 at 8:24 am #930411Thanks Rikard, it was in fact a ‘mobile theme’ setting from Jetpack (maybe set on as I updated the plugin).
You saved my day (3 months I’m looking for the solution…).Thanks a lot !
