Hi, I’m having trouble when install any lightbox with slide function to next images in smartphone. I installed more than 10 different plugins but they just dont work when I activate. I need to install this plugin to solve my problem: https://dfactory.eu/products/responsive-lightbox/ but it doesn’t works.
February 3, 2017 at 4:27 pm #742444Hey!
Can you please elaborate on the issue you are having and post a link to your website? We might need temporary admin logins as well.
It might be a plugin conflict if non of the lightbox plugins are working for you. Please make sure that you tried to de-activate all active ones before testing.Best regards,
YigitFebruary 6, 2017 at 6:45 am #743163Hi Yigit, there is no other plugin installed in my website. Below login and password to access.

February 6, 2017 at 8:35 am #743201Hi!
The lioghtbox that we have, is repsonsive.
Can you please let us know what issue you are having with it, so we can be able to help you instead of having
3rd party plugins?Thanks a lot

BasilisFebruary 6, 2017 at 8:44 am #743206Hi Basilis, the native enfold lightbox plugin doesn’t has finger slide funcionality to next image in smartphones and tablets, and that is necessary for my project. So I tryed the “responsive lightbox plugin” to solve, but it just don’t work, like many others I had installed. Can you help me with this? My client requires this funcionality in lightbox.
Thanks a lot.
MarcosFebruary 10, 2017 at 10:03 am #745298Hi!
The theme is using the Magnific Popup plugin and according to the author, it’s not possible to add the “swipe” functionality without disabling existing lightbox features.
// https://github.com/dimsemenov/Magnific-Popup/issues/378
Unfortunately, we don’t provide support for third party plugins as stated on our support policy. Please contact the plugin author for more info.
Or you can try the “swipe” implementations in the following thread.
// https://github.com/dimsemenov/Magnific-Popup/issues/646

IsmaelFebruary 10, 2017 at 10:05 am #745299Hey!
UPDATE: Have you tried the PhotoSwipe (“https://wordpress.org/plugins/photo-swipe/”) plugin?
Best regards,
IsmaelFebruary 28, 2017 at 1:22 am #752683Hi Ismael, I tried PhotoSwipe and it works fine when I use a gallery created in “Default Editor”, but when I use “Avia Layout Builder” it doesn’t work. Take a look at this test in my site. I installed PhotoSwipe and let Magnific Popup Lightbox (native) active. So with the both plugins working togheter is possible to realize that in the first gallery (Default Editor) it open both lightboxes when click, and the second gallery just open native lightbox. Why it just work in the galleries created in “Default Editor”?
Thx
MarcosMarch 3, 2017 at 7:08 pm #755277Hi,
this happens because Enfold (ALB) is using Magnific Popup Lightbox. Deactivate it so you can use PhotoSwip only.
Best regards,
AndyMarch 4, 2017 at 12:59 am #755426I already done this, but PhotoSwipe still does not working when I create a gallery with Avia Layout Builder (Advaced Layout Editor). PhotoSwipe plugin just works on galleries created in Default Editor. Why this is happening? Can you check it please? I created a login to access my site.
March 6, 2017 at 1:29 pm #756375Hi,
this might happen, because this 3rd party plugin is not compatible with Enfold’s ALB. We can’t do much about it unfortunately, as we can’t provide support for 3rd party plugins. So maybe best to ask plugin’s author about it or even better to hire a freelance developer who can make it compatible for you.
Best regards,
AndyMarch 6, 2017 at 10:36 pm #756611I think the use of Photoswipe would be a great addition for Enfold.
These days the use of mobile phone website visiting is greater than ever.In the general setting it says : “Uncheck only if you want to use your own modal window plugin”
But which other window plugins are working thing Enfold.I am not a programmer but I think somewhere should be the possibility to activate an other Lightbox with something like rel=”otherlightbox”. I think Photoswipe could be working if we can put it somewhere in the avia.js ???
But where?
March 7, 2017 at 7:53 pm #757208Hi,
as already said this is out of our support scope and a job for a freelance developer.

AndyMarch 8, 2017 at 4:07 pm #757880Hi Andy,
I understand the ‘out of support’.
But then the other question:
how to use : “In the general setting it says : “Uncheck only if you want to use your own modal window plugin”
But which other window plugins are working thing Enfold.”Could you explain how we have to use this??

March 8, 2017 at 6:00 pm #757963Hi,
you don’t have to use this at all, but if yes then feel free to uncheck it and search for a 3rd party plugins which works well for you. We have no recommendations for that. Feel free to browse this site though: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/recommended-plugins/
Best regards,
AndyMarch 8, 2017 at 7:59 pm #757995Ok Andy, I follow your instructions and get one of these listed plugin – NextGen Gallery. So, I “Uncheck only if you want to use your own modal window plugin” and the NextGen Gallery lightbox still not working. Can you help me with this?
March 9, 2017 at 2:22 am #758131So, I give up. I realize this theme doesn’t work with a mobile touch-friendly lightbox plugin if I doesn’t hire a freelancer developer to do that. Would be very interesting in next Enfold version that came with this plugin native. I’ll work in the old way (Avia Layout Builder disabled) and use Photoswipe plugin to solve that. Thanks for support.
March 10, 2017 at 2:17 am #758657I found a temporary solution to use Avia Layout Builder with Photoswipe Plugin.
Instead default “Gallery” in “Media Elements” I’ve used a “Text Block”.
Inside this block I created a gallery with the button “Add Media”. In css, at gallery class, I edited to create in any size 3 columns (width 33%) to look good any number of photos, in my case. So, you can edit css and make you gallery looks beatiful, responsive and with a touch-friendly lightbox.I hope your developers find a way to implement touch-friendly function in Magnific Popup Lightbox or change the gallery plugin to Photoswipe, which in my opinion, is much better.
Best regards.
MarcosMarch 10, 2017 at 3:38 pm #758957Hi,
alright, thanks for sharing!
Feel free to make such feature request here: kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/
Best regards,
AndyMarch 18, 2017 at 6:11 pm #762942I requested this feature 6 months ago, however this featured request page doesn’t seem to be maintained.
Nothing is in progress since years…it would be nice to see which ones are picked up and have insightful comments of the author.
I’m almost sitting on my knees to makes this theme more mobile friendly ;)Best regards,
S
March 20, 2017 at 5:50 pm #763713Hi,
don’t forget to vote for your feature request. As long as enough people are voting for it, too, Kriesi will consider it. Obviously he can’t consider everything. There are too many people out there, who would like thousands of improvements. Hope you understand that.
Best regards,
Andy -
