GuestHi,
My company uses your enfold theme for our website that was built four or five years ago. Unfortunately we don’t have a registration code because the contractor that built the website for us is no longer in business. We are now getting an enfold fatal error and wordpress said that the only people who can fix this are your team. Since we don’t have a registration code we have not been able access the forums to resolve the issue. In the meantime, we are not able to make any changes to our website as our editing boxes refuse to load. Below is the code to the fatal error.

I see that you are running a very old version of the theme, that is the likely cause of your problems. If you don’t have access to a license of the theme then I would recommend that you purchase a new license here: https://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990. If you don’t own a license then you will likely have problems like this in the future as well.
Once you have a license then you will need to update manually to the latest version of the theme (4.5.7), please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
After you have updated then try to activate the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,
Rikard -
