    Hi,

    I have a problem on my side that I just can’t figure out. I have created several forms on my site with Contact Form 7, but the sending of mail in my form created yesterday doesn’t work. It is rejected with the following message: “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.” I use the plugin “Contact Form 7” and have reCaptcha v3 active.

    The forms on my other subpages still work without problems, I tested it several times. But the new form doesn’t work. According to a “Contact Form 7”-documentation it could be that the message is declared as spam and therefore does not go out. If I check this with the Chrome Web Developer (under Network > XHR) I get as a result only something from webspeeds with the diagnosis “Cannot GET /webspeeds” but I don’t know what to do with it, not even if it has anything to do with my problem.

    I created new reCaptcha v3 keys and put them in Contact Form 7, the Enfold Google settings and also WP Cerber. I also installed “Really Simple Captcha” (developed by the same developer as Contact Form 7) and “WP Mail SMTP”. It has all brought nothing.

    So I don’t know why the new form doesn’t work but my others do. All settings with the existing forms were adjusted and it should work theoretically… I suspect that the reCaptcha doesn’t work properly but I don’t know how to check or fix it. In the past, the reCaptcha logo was also visible on the bottom-right, now not anymore. I think I’ve read that this was changed by you but I’m not sure anymore.

    It is also clear to me that this would actually be an issue what I would have to ask the plugin developer, however, no answer comes from there and I am very helpless how I should fix this.

    It would be an enormous help if you could have a look at my page, maybe to see if I did not commit a careless mistake somewhere. Otherwise I don’t know any more. I hope that the mistake lies before my eyes and it is nothing complicated.

    You find the Form here:

    Thank you very much for your help.

    Update:

    I created a “robot” with a tutorial with the web developer in the mobile view because apparently there is more information to be getting on this way. This is explained in this article (under “debug errors”):
    kau-boys.de/2464/wordpress/error-senden-in-contact-form-7-debuggen

    Now the Web Developer > Network > XHR will send the following messages:

    feedback:

    {into: "#wpcf7-f10556-p6706-o1", status: "spam",…}
    into: "#wpcf7-f10556-p6706-o1"
    message: "Beim Versuch, deine Mitteilung zu versenden, ist ein Fehler aufgetreten. Bitte versuche es später noch einmal."
    status: "spam"

    With a double click on “feedback” I get the following error message in my browser:
    {"code":"rest_no_route","message":"Es wurde keine Route gefunden, die mit der URL und der Request-Methode identisch ist.","data":{"status":404}}
    see here: franz-automobile.com/wp-json/contact-form-7/v1/contact-forms/10556/feedback

    This message probably comes from my website in response to the form’s attempt to send it.
    However, Google also gives another message:

    HTTP method GET is not supported by this URL
    Error 405

    See here: http://www.google.com/recaptcha/api2/reload?k=6LcI_Z8UAAAAADLY75Rxiv5-NBiH2cu1oxuMD0XP

    I don’t quite understand the error message. So the function “GET” is supposed not to work. Is this something that my hoster could activate? And why it goes with the other forms…

    Hi SeroKoe,

    You might want to address this issue to the CF7 authors and support forums. I’m not sure we can help you with this.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hey, thanks for your response.

    I completely forgot to let you know here: I could solve the problem (remove the reCaptcha v3 key from Contact Form 7 and install the plugin “Advanced-nocaptcha-recaptcha” to integrate reCaptcha v2 into CF7).

    Instructions can be found here under “Step 2”:
    wordpress.org/support/topic/3-spam-fixes-contact-form-7-v5-1/

    This Thread can be closed.
