    I sent an email to your support but have received no answer and its been several days now.

    I want to purchase your template but before i do so i need a simple question answered. I just need to knopw if its possible to remove the following area from the front page? I know very little about websites so it may be very simple but i need to know this before i buy the theme.

    I would appreciate it if you were able to answer as soon as possible as i need to purcahse a theme today, therefore if its not suitable i will need to look elsewhere.

    Also one other thing, i created an account here first under Jock, then went to themeforest but since jock was taken i had to use Jockbh0y.

    I tried to create a new account here to make the usernames match but it seems i cant do so as i was never sent a verification email for the second account. Are you ok that the two names arent the same, so i can use the support if i happen to buy avisio or do i somehow need to create a second account here under a new username?

    Yes you can remove this area without problems. It is ok if you have two different usernames and inform us about it – it’s in general easier for us if everyone chooses the same username he/she uses on TF or CC but if we know about it the verification is possible :)

    Excellent, thanks very much.

    I’ll go purchase the theme now.

    Hi, so i’ve purchased it now so you will be able to check with themeforest.

    Ive had a good look at the settings in wordpress but i cant seem to see how to get rid of that area.

    It looks to me like they are what they refer to as widgets but in the widget area nothing is selected so i cant work out why they are showing up. Apologies if this is simple but ive never done anything like this before.

    To remove the footer widget area you just need to delete following code from the footer.php file:

    <div class='overlay_top ie6fix'></div>
    <div class='center' id="footer_inside">

    $columns = 1;
    foreach ($k_option['custom']['footer'] as $footer_widget) //iterates 3 times creating 3 footer widget areas
    $last = "";
    if($columns == 4){$last = "last"; }

    echo '<div class="footerColumn '.$footer_widget.' '.$last.'">';
    if (function_exists('dynamic_sidebar') && dynamic_sidebar('Footer - '.$footer_widget) ) :

    else : dummy_widget($columns); endif; // dummy widgets defined at the bottom of widgets.php

    echo '</div>';

    <!--end footer_inside-->
