Hello. I see there is a “Templates” button in the Avia Layout Builder that allows you to “Save Entry as Template”. Do you have any instructions that explain more about how these templates work?

For example, is it possible to do the following with those templates:

    1) Save a main template layout
    2) Use that main template as the base for creating several new pages
    3) Go back and make an edit to the layout of that that main template (and have that change automatically be reflected on those several pages that were previously created from the template).

I know that something like this is possible if I assign a normal WordPress page template to those pages (i.e., Default Template, Blank, Archive, etc.), but would like to be able to do something similar with a template that is developed using the Enfold Avia Layout Builder.

I plan on having 50 pages have a similar layout to them and do not want to need to go and edit all 50 pages if I decide to change something to the main Avia Layout Template.

    Please advise. Thanks!

    Hey ACNLatitudes,

A template won’t update globally unfortunately, maybe it would be better if you tried using the Page Content element? That would let you create a layout as a page, and you can update the same layout buy simply editing the page in question.

    Best regards,

Thanks for the reply. Do you have a link that explains what the Page Content element is and how to use it? I am not familiar with that feature.

    Hi,

We don’t have any documentation on that unfortunately, but the concept is very simple; just create a layout on a new page, then add the Page Content element to the page where you want to add the content you just added by selecting the page in question in the element options.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
