Hi,
on a website I saw that you can display info in a kind of fly out box (is that what it’s called?), which is always visible at a certain place on the right side of the page. In need it for an actual web design. When you move the cursor over it, the window or box opens to the left. I have a few questions about this:
1. is it possible to implement this with Enfold?
2. I need a field for the icon and one for the information.
3. is it also possible to put a widget or a field with HTML code for a background music player in this fly out box?Thank you very much for the answer.
Many greetings, Sabine
PS. A sample page where I have seen this is https://www.skimina-immobilien.de/ There is this fly out window on the right in the color gold for phone, mobile and email.

March 26, 2022 at 2:26 am #1346100Hey Sabine,
Thank you for your question, this is typically called a floating menu and you will need to use a plugin for this, please see these in the WordPress Plugin directory.Best regards,

thanks for the info and thanks for the name “floating menu” :) .
For the one page I already found one that worked well.
A second question would be: Is there also a plugin for a floating menu where you can put a widget? I want to run background music on one page, but the plugin I had been using on the last sites no longer works – despite consulting the programmer. I just want it to be discreetly visible via an icon and most of the free plugins are not very nice visually. Now I had the idea to implement the whole thing with a floating menu, so that only the icon for the player is visible. Therefore the question: Do you know such a floating menu plugin, where a widget can be inserted?
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Sabine

March 28, 2022 at 1:13 pm #1346292Hi,
I have not tested any of these, or looked for a “Floating Widget” before, but perhaps Floating Button or Side Menu Lite would work. If the player already has an icon you could try to make it sticky alone with Sticky Menu & Sticky Header (WP Sticky Anything)
But it sounds like you might want to ask a freelancer to help you create this with javascript.Best regards,

thank you for the info – it doesn’t work as I wish it, but I have another idea. Can I install a widget in the header area with 50px padding to the top and 50px padding to the right?
I created a background music widget with elfsight (I could choose only an icon as symbol) but I don’t know how to put it into the header???
Thank you again for helping.
Best regards,
